Latest Steam announcements

  • V1.3.2 Bugfix Update - 7 March 2023

-Fixed infinite score exploit during bossfights that stop the timer. Enemies no long drop any score during those. -Fixed an issue where Sentinel enemies would not be recorded into replays. This unfortunately does not fix current replays as the enemy spawns were not recorded in the first place.

  • Primordial Pain OST Release - 22 February 2023

Sorry, this took so long. The video has been up on YT for a while I just didn't get to do the annoucement yet. Either way, you can now listen to the sountrack on YouTube: Or download the lossless WAV here. Enjoy!

  • Missing replays fixed - 24 January 2023

Hello, I'm sure you've noticed that most replays, maybe even your own, can simply not be viewed anymore after some time. This seems to be a bug in Steam's leaderboards. However, I have finally found a workaround, which is incidentally a little more efficient as well. This means that all replays can now be viewed again (apart from old ones that are outdated/invalidated). Enjoy viewing those super cracked runs! Cheers Jan

  • 1.3.1 Balance Update - 20 January 2023

Hello, I just wanted to address a few things people noted in the community hub: -Nerfed Devourer (Does less damage, less aggressive tracking, slower maximum speed, more healing opportunities) -Red crystals now contribute to the style meter as well as the pain meter Cheers Jan

  • 1.3.0 Update - 22 December 2022

Hello everyone, first of all I'm sorry for the long inactivity but I had to take a break from things for a while. Now, I'm really grateful for the folks who have been active in the community hub and have been posting feedback. This update is a culmination of all that feedback including some new features. Here's a list of fixes, changes and additions: -Fixed a bug where the forward/backward movement would be blocked when looking all the way up or down. -Fixed a bug where the FOV would not reset after exiting out of a replay. -Fixed a bug where multiple ranking boards would load at the same time -Added more precision to the sensitivity setting. -Added the ability to rebind (almost) all controls. -Added Crush impact VFX -Added Out-Of-Bounds warning SFX -Added three training spawn sets -Slightly increased style decay speed -Tightened spawn timings before the first boss I hope this accomodat…

  • Replay Fast Forward - 5 November 2022

So as the replays grow longer it makes sense to be able to skip to a certain part you'd like to see. This is now possible albeit only in one direction. (Jumping to arbitrary replay timestamps would have been an immense undertaking and might've also forcecd me to invalidate current replays.) Using the left and the up arrow during a replay you can skip ahead either 10 seconds or 60 seconds respectively. I hope this helps! Cheers Jan

  • FOV Slider - 3 November 2022

I feel bad for not having thought of this sooner, but the game now has an FOV slider that ranges from 80° to 120°. I think that should cover everyone's FOV needs. Cheers Jan

  • Leaderboard Upgrade - 1 November 2022

Until now the in-game leaderboard has been super basic only showing your local scores. I didn't even expect more than ten people to play this game so I honestly didn't put much effort into it. But now it offers options for viewing local-, global- and friend-scores and times, as well as the ability to view a replay from the score and the time entry. Cheers Jan

  • Replay Hotfix - 1 November 2022

The leaderboard replays had some syncing issues involving enemy kills, which should hopefully be fixed now. Unfortunately this means that all current replays (not the scores however) are invalid and can no longer be viewed. Once you submit a new best score your new replay should be viewable. Cheers Jan
