• Hotfix 20230919 - 19 September 2023

  This hotfix deals with a bug when starting a new game Fixed a bug that gave Alex invalid data when starting a new game. This bug was introduced by the previous patch. Loading a save with the faulty data should load normally now and nothing should be lost.

• Small patch 20240914 - 14 September 2023

  Another bug got in due to multiple genders Fixed a bug that saved Alex's data wrongly and loading it would reset Alex data to level 1. The data is not gone, just wrongly placed. The patch has a fix that will load previous saves and places the correct data, even if it was saved in the wrong spot before. Fixed functionality of the counter ability that some items offer. Counters will take the place of a single reaction per turn by counter-attacking an attack.

• Minor Patch 20230909 - 9 September 2023

  Fixed a bug that prevented some Visual Novel events from progressing properly due to the introduction of alternative outfits that came with the full release of the game. This involved an event of Neelu, Rhea and Roy.

• Patch 20230906 - Patching the Patch - 6 September 2023

  The previous patch sadly introduced a game-breaking bug. This patch will fix that fault in addition to a few smaller ones. Fixed a bug that was introduced by the previous patch in relation to savefiles, which would record faulty data for the difficulty setting (including values that go out of bounds). Any saves from before the previous patch should have been working normally, but saves afterwards could break the game when engaging in battle. Savefile data itself is not corrupt or lost however and after this patch, any faulty savefile are automatically restored without any loss of game progression. Any savefile that is loaded now will check if the difficulty value is faulty and if so, set it to normal Any new saves after his patch will store the correct difficulty value.   Patch 20230902 Fixed female alex animations in battle Fixed some odd special fx placement on certain enemies Fixed a bug when in battle, the skill was checked against older data, making the skill unable to activate in battle Fixed displaying wrong save info when saving/loading. • Chapter 3 is on the Way! - 11 July 2023

  Greetings! It's SilkyFangs with a quick update from Kokolori Studios. For the past months, Rubicus and I have been working on creating new content and battle updates for the third and final Chapter of the game. Most of the work for the third Island is done. Rubicus is currently working on the Boss battles and I'm writing the story events that will reveal the island's secrets. Rubicus has been adding more varied cheers to the battles. Of course, I'm also busy writing new story events and creating more art or refining previous sprites and backgrounds. As promised for the full release, players will now be able to choose Alex' gender. I've been updating past story events to implement the proper pronouns and I'm currently updating all of Alex's visuals. • Patch notes for December 7 - 7 December 2022

  We just released our very first Patch. We want to thank everyone who played Tropical Hearts and provided us with valuable feedback! Fixes fixed broken battles in nodes on the expedition map (north and east side) fixed negative exp gains. Now a minimum of 10% of experience is the limit. When loading a save file it will set any negative exp values to 0, for people who gained an experience debt due to this bug. Swamplord scale and position adjusted (1/4th of previous size) Characters now fully recover after returning to Paradise Island from expeditions Confusion (and likewise charm/enraged status where the AI takes control of the player character’s turn) fixed for player characters Special FX above the head for status effects like confusion and charm should be shown properly now.
