First came an image of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger on the series official Facebook page , along with the provocative slogan "legends never die"; and then, moments ago, a short video appeared with a message for Rockstar's upcoming cowboy mega-blockbuster Red Dead Redemption 2. Blizzard has pushed out Diablo 3's Necromancer beta, in which select participants can take the game's newest and pastiest class for a spin. A based-on adaptation of Diablo 2's Necromancer , Diablo 3's iteration headlines the Rise of the Necromancer expansion pack due for release later this year. Unlike Reaper of Souls, Rise of the Necromancer will not add a new act to the game's campaign. Additions include the Necromancer class, more room in your stash, a couple of extra character slots, and cosmetics. You'll need Reaper of Souls installed to play the Necromancer beta, as well as Rise of the Necromancer when the DLC add-on launches later this year.

After a brief jaunt into the present-day with the crowbait Call of Juarez: The Cartel , Techland's yee-hawing FPS series is returning to its Old West roots in Call of Juarez Gunslinger . It'll be a downloadable affair, setting you off on the trail of Wild West legends like Billy the Kid and Jesse James as a bounty hunter. Publisher Ubisoft describe it as an "arcade FPS," whatever that means. The announcement mentions skill development, giving you new "shooting abilities," and neat tricks like dodging bullets. Update: Techland has offered Eurogamer a statement about the Ubisoft survey. "This is an alleged leak from Ubisoft. They're our business partners and a publicly traded company.
