- Radar Update & Important Annoucement - 4 September 2026
Hello ComradesWe’re back again with another update - and another important announcement. Radar UpdateWe promised in our last update, that we would be releasing an updated radar station which will help track anomalies better. On top of that we have added new types of nodes to the radar, such as players, vehicles, and ‘other’. This will make seeing what's going on around your island so much easier and ensuring your fellow Comrades are safe. A significant issue with the last radar was it wasn’t quite accurate. We’ve fully calibrated our GPS and now finding anomalies will be much better. We hope this along with some much improved artwork for it, will make living on the island much more enjoyable.The updated radar can be found in the command room ready for use. Hello ComradesWe’re back again with another update - this time with new content to try out and some big fixes we’ve spent some time tracking down. This update is all about farming. Earlier this year we promised we would be rebalancing farming, along with adding some new features to it, and its finally here! Farming UpdateHaving a good and consistent amount of food in Yes Comrade is very important to survival. The ability to grow potatoes in gardening pots has been in existence since the launch of the game in December. Feedback from players has said that this became too easy and trivial, as effectively potatoes multiplied exponentially from being able to replant them as is again. Introducing FMODFMOD is an audio engine used by thousands of games (both indie and AAA) which integrates into Unity and Unreal Engine. Earlier this year we decided that the build in Unity audio systems wasn’t quite cutting it and was causing multiple frustrations and problems when using looped audio. Many people have reported various audio glitches and 9 times out of 10 this was due to Unity not quite playing what we had built correctly. So we decided to look into FMOD as a potential solution. This time we have added weather and reworked the entire TV system to now be a key feature in the world of Belegovska.Weather SystemLets start with the Weather system. In update 0.6.3 we have added 4 core weather patterns and 2 rare abnormal weather events. Weather lasts the entire day and affects the world and the environment in different ways. Hello Comrades! Welcome back to our regular scheduled updates. Thank you to everyone who has reported bugs or issues since launch, and also given amazing feedback in our Discord. This update starts off our promises from our public roadmap we posted at the start of January. Finally the sky is now alive, both during the day and at night with our new skybox. On top of this we have added a new entity and event to discover. There is no need to create a new save to see these changes. One of our longest running issues was the long exit times after playing for more than an hour. After another report regarding higher than expected memory usage, we believe this was tied to a nasty memory leak originating from our radio tower status rendering. Feedback has been amazing, and we have loved as a team watching some of the steams (even if they are in Italian!). I've done a balancing pass at all the player stats and also the downtime of the generator and radio towers.
