• Demo Update - Steam Fest! - 15 June 2023

  With the release of this version, the demo should now feel more complete for Steam Next Fest. Tons of content and rebalancing is on its way but this should give a good idea of the concept - awaiting your feedback! Patch notes v1.0.0 Demo Map The map should now feel more lively. Lots of new content. Added extra environmental interactions, which include chests, breakable boxes, sites & capture areas. Feel free to explore and find some surprises. One of the capture areas will spawn a temporary Book of Sins that will spin around and periodically cast a fireball - bad for the orcs that happen to be in its way! Nero The Burner Higher chance to burn its target with the basic attack (16% -> 21%) Burn If you burn the same enemy multiple times, the damage from the extra instances of burn applied is now increased (20% -> 40%) Gold Skulls Easier to acquire thus permanent enhancements should be obta…

• Survive the Orcs - new visual identity! - 22 March 2023

  You can now enjoy the freshly updated visual capsules of Survive The Orcs! All temporary older capsules have been removed. Marketing visuals will be upgraded in the future again to better suit the style of the game & show what it is about. But for now - it's a good step forward towards better visibility. • Demo preparation update - Permanent Enhancements! - 14 February 2023

  The permanent enhancements are now here! Each run you play will give you some Gold Skulls. That's the currency you can spend to unlock powerful permanent enhancements! Those will remain with you...forever. Or at least while 'Survive the Orcs' is open. Here's a few of those: Gain an extra reroll Healing while at full HP grants you an attack speed buff instead All sites throughout the map cost 1 gold less Gold chests are more likely to spawn in your run Summon a burning tornado after teleporting Of course, pure stats enhancements are also available. • Demo preparation update - Loading screens & Settings! - 28 January 2023

  Step by step 'Survive the Orcs' demo is getting closer! Currently the development focus is set on basic but fundamental features for every game. The latest additions are: • smooth loading screens between levels • settings menu with the most important things The audio system has its core fundamentals up & running too, however, there's still a main system to be implemented - the save/load of progress (as well as settings of course). Once all of these are complete, the main focus will once again shift towards gameplay and balancing.
