- Patch Notes 1.2.6 - 21 August 2026
Hey Moonlighters! We heard your feedback on the price rebalancing in patch 1.2.3! While the changes were meant to make different ways of making money more viable, they ultimately made earning money more difficult and hurt anyone with a big vineyard. It's clear we need to reassess our approach to updating the in-game economy for players at all stages. We'll keep considering the best approach, but in the meantime, we're fully restoring what you can earn from wine, beer, and honey. We also upgraded bulk cooking to be even more bulky!Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Keep the feedback coming!ChangesRestored recipes and prices of Red Wine, White Wine, and Beer to what they were before patch 1.2.3.Increased Honey sell price and production to make it more profitable, matching the revenue from before patch 1.2.3.Bulk cooking now works with up to 25 items instead of 8.Bulk cooking now r…

- Moonlight Peaks review - 15 July 2026
"A nocturnal farm sim where you're a vampire" is one of the better hooks I've heard lately in a subgenre that's long become overstuffed with too many same-y, saccharine rural community sims. Moonlight Peaks' slightly spooky theme is a welcome twist, but that's where its originality ends, because it struggles to ever turn that concept into a story with any bite... Read more.

- How to get married in Moonlight Peaks, or divorced, if your undead heart wanders - 13 July 2026
One of the biggest end goals in a farm sim (other than a massive wine-making operation) is getting married to your favorite townie. Moonlight Peaks lets you really play the field by going on dates with pretty much everyone before you lock down one chosen beau... Read more.

- How to unlock Samael's romance and begin dating the brooding bartender in Moonlight Peaks - 10 July 2026
I don't blame you for loading up Moonlight Peaks and saying: "Wait, how are you supposed to date Samael?" The broody bartender is easily the most conventionally attractive guy in town. If you peeked at the datable candidates list for Moonlight Peaks, you'll have seen Samael featured alongside all the other eligible townies. When you start playing, though, you notice pretty quickly that Samael only has four friendship hearts in his relationship panel unlike the other bachelors, so what gives?.. Read more.
- Where to find the fallen tree and unblock the waterfall in Moonlight Peaks - 10 July 2026
During the quest The Mysterious Bay you're going to need to lift a fallen tree in Moonlight Peaks to help your newly-discovered mermaid neighbors rejoin the town proper. After you get the rundown, you might wind up scratching your head over where that tree you're supposed to clear was. It certainly isn't nearby in the Howling Marshes where you'd assume... Read more.

- How to go on dates in Moonlight Peaks and start your road to romance - 7 July 2026
I was pleasantly surprised to find that going on dates in Moonlight Peaks is more involved than your average farm sim. After you extend an invite, your beau will take you out for a little activity featuring some of Moonlight Peaks' minigames. You're free to date around, too, so don't be stingy with your time. Here's how to start stepping out with all the locals... Read more.

new farm sim has launched today and, as is tradition, cozy game enjoyers gather round to ask each other: Is Moonlight Peaks worth it? - Artist Spotlight: Julia - 15 June 2026
Hi! I’m Julia, a 3D artist working on props and environments for Moonlight Peaks. I’ll walk you through my process of creating one of our many cozy interiors, from getting the concept all the way to final set dressing. 1. Concept & Blockout I’m starting with this werewolf-themed room concept, the Logan house interior. Since this design was a bit outdated, I’m planning to update the layout while keeping the same color palette and overall vibe. So rather than copying it one-to-one, I’ll use it as a guideline. That gives me quite a bit of creative freedom, which is always a win!Concept by Wietse Treurniet. The first step in translating this into 3D is making a blockout. I focus on the big shapes and layout first, making sure everything feels right in-engine. Scale is very important at this stage; you don’t want a space to feel too cramped or oversized compared to the character models.Blocko…
