• Update 1.4.0 - The 'Game Mode' Update - 1 April 2023

  Hello everyone! Today I'm releasing a chunky update that adds a bunch of new stuff. Technical change: upgraded to Unity's Universal Render Pipeline NAME CHANGE As you can tell, I decided to change the game's name from 'Feisty Festivities' to 'Winfray'. The name 'Winfray' stems for 2 words, wintry and fray. I decided to change the name because I feel as if the name 'Feisty Festivities' only fits for the Christmas season, which may lead people away from checking out the game. I also feel as if the name doesn't feel very "exciting" if that makes sense. NEW GAME MODES 2 new game modes called 'Hordes' and 'Minigames' have been added and are available to play. When you first launch up the game, you'll be greeted to a new menu where you can select between Snowball Fight, Minigames, and Hordes.   Small patch including bug fixes and some tweaks: Fixed a bug that exploits respawning & coal (hopefully). Reduced price for monkey launcher to 100 coal. Increased XP gained from kill. Increased XP requirement to level up to 700. Increased coal gained from kill. Fixed an issue with level not displaying after increasing. Next update should also have randomized spawn points to prevent spawn camping. So for now, just don't be cringe and spawn camp.

• The future of Feisty Festivities - 23 December 2022

  Hello everyone! This "announcement" is more of a blog post type of thing informing you on what I plan on doing for the future of Feisty Festivities. As you all know, the game down to it's core, is a Christmas game. The problem is that it's not Christmas all year-round. To deal with this, I plan on adding seasonal updates depending on the time of year and event. Examples would be Easter, summer, fall, etc.. I hope that what I bring with these updates won't make the game boring to the people who play it, and can prevent the game from going stale and not entertaining. Additionally, for future features I'm working on and plan on adding at some point, the list includes: Crouching Some sort of perk system Daily login rewards Item pickups (coal, xp, etc...) In-match drops (balloons that drop coal, xp, and powerups) More customization (cosmetics, settings, keybinds, etc...) Practice mode/firing…
