Hello. This hotfix solves the graphical glitches affecting ground textures on Windows.When you launch the game for the first time, you'll now see 2 launch options. One for Windows and one for Steam Deck. Pick the one that matches your system and the game will automatically use the recommended rendering API. Windows: Launches the game with DirectX12 with DirectX11 as a fallback if needed. DirectX resolves the ground texture glitches that Windows players were experiencing.Steam Deck: Launches the game using Vulkan. Vulkan continues to provide the best performance and is recommended when using the highest graphics settings on Steam Deck. Hello.ChangesChanged the way the camera works when playing with mouse & keyboard.The camera no longer slows down after the mouse stopped moving, which I believe was contributing to some players experiencing dizziness. Discord Competition Winners There was a competition in the snekflat enthusiasts Discord to create a new hat & a new insect and everyone voted for their favourites. The winning entries have been added to the game. Seagull Hat Wool came up with the seagull hat. This ended up becoming a new feature. I always felt bad for players when nothing would happen after they managed to hit a bird with a bug net (which is pretty tricky to do). So now you can catch birds with the bug net and wear them as hats. "Sliamk" Insect This purple snail-like insect was designed by wupporulz(forever)ok. There are 10 different insects in the game now. Hello again! Here's another quick update: Accessibility Gameplay Settings: Added a toggle to disable "Tilted Camera Angles". This is toggled on by default. If you turn it off, the game will have alternated camera angles in most of the interiors, which should be helpful if you find the tilted camera discomforting (or nauseating).
