  Where is Clown Meat?!?In the fall of 2024 we were approaching the final stretch of Clown Meat development and I (Talia) was feeling creatively burnt out in a way I had never experienced before. Clown Meat is the longest development cycle I’ve ever been a part of and both myself and Autumn had been through so many major life changes during that time. I was dreading my work on Clown Meat and I hated that, I wanted to love my work, I wanted to cross that finish line with enthusiasm not exhaustion. I want Clown Meat to be the best it could be.At the tail end of October 2024 in my local independent theatre I watched the 1974 film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” for the first time and during the runtime of that film I felt such a creative surge. Some levels now have paint cans that you can knock over to spill permanent paint. Added "source" button on the character select screen that links to original game crossover characters hail from. The Newscaster has been given a unique surprise! Added a small indicator at the top left of the screen to indicate build version. Gameplay changes: Developer medals can now be retroactively earned if you beat their times before unlocking them. Timer now updates with the physics for consistency. Reduced the range at which the player needs to move to start the timer by 90%.…

Clown Meat Demo Last week we launched the first public demo for Clown Meat on Steam! We're ecstatic over how positive the reception has been, with fanart already pouring in, and an early speedrunning community already forming around the game. We've loved seeing these speedrun route maps users have been drawing for each level! In playtests, we anticipated that the demo would take users (on average) ~1.5 hours. The world record demo speedrun is already 6m 25s.... • In precision platformer Clown Meat, you have to cheer up a Godzilla-sized clown from Jupiter - 27 February 2024

  I've done some elementary study of the planet Jupiter for various creative research projects/dead-ends. It's probably a symptom of my failings as an astronomer, but I have to say that at no point have I noticed any gigantic, depressed clowns. In new platformer Clown Meat, one such gigantic, depressed clown has swum through Jupiter's atmosphere, drifted to Earth and kicked off some kind of meatpunk apocalypse, saturating the surrounding countryside with circus-themed abominations.
