Updated Ren`py to the latest version for stability and ease-of-code. With that there were bugs and stuff to eliminate. The internal Lint report for errors and such works really good in Ren`py 8.5. It showed me errors that weren't displayed on the old 7.3. And there were a lot. Missing image files, misspelled image files, logic errors ... all of it. lol Along that troubleshooting the MC finally wears the correct shirt colour depending on the path you take if you take Cary-June home or not. I want to add some more renders before release, 300-400 is the goal here. Anthea will keep the new hairstyle which you all have already seen. It's just way more beautiful and fitting than the old one. And easier to work with too. Zandra also gets the new hairstyle. Hey cyberjacks, street rats, and tekkheads it's been a while since the last devlog, hu? Real-life stuff didn't let me off its grasp. There was so much happening in the previous months I barely got shit done, to be honest. Had to repair some appliances and household things that couldn't be repaired or had to be replaced. I'm grateful that it was possible to do that in the first place thanks to you but it was time-consuming. Lots of family stuff going on and crawling through tax and business regulations on top of some health setbacks. The amount held me back substantially. Hey cyberjacks, robolovers and skyraiders There's a question that has been popping up in my mind a lot in the last few weeks. What about animations in visual novels? I once played around with them last year and the results were awful. The program I'm using isn't user-friendly when it comes to making animations. You can do it, sure but it's not really made for that kind of thing. Some creators manage to make good animations with it but they are still far from what you would get when using software like Blender, Cascadeur, or Unreal Engine. For DAZ Studio, the one I'm using for rendering the images, there are animation blocks available from different creators. Some are better than others of course. Animations aren't easy to do. You have to account for a lot of limbs and other things wiggly to move properly and appropriately. But there's no denying that they can be very nice to look at and…

Hey cyberjacks, techmonkeys and robolovers Big visual update for Cyberlinxxx. 424 images of Act 2, that's what I call the folder, it has nothing to do with any writing structure, and have been rerendered and it ends with a bang. Meeting Drayzer, going to the Memphidrone, A-Z's explicit scene, the bar sequences, A-Z's VaRena fight, and the Waterplant sequence got all remastered. Changed lighting setups, and camera angles, fixed a few clippings here and there, and changed the shaders of the surfaces of the VaRena. Exchanged two images i.e. in A-Z's explicit scene too. And it even saves you 500MB in storage space and thus download bandwidth. And since it's spring, you get 30% off till the 21st of March. A clarification Yes, Cyberlinxxx is still in early access. At the time of release, I made the dumb mistake of not changing the status of the release. Right at the moment I clicked the "publish" button I realized I didn't label it properly. I'm sorry. This was not intended and I apologize to everyone who thought he would get a full game release. Hey there, hope you're doing well. I'm deep into rerendering the images for the VN. What started as a simple rerender turned out to be a much needed rework of all renders up to v0.15. Except v016 because since the virtua game is intended to be a virtual recreation of the ingame reality it can look the way it does without changes. Cary-June got a new black-golden dress and some repairing of her underlying UV map which caused cracks in her skin texture. Writing the next update is going well and estimated to be done in 1.5-2 weeks. After that the persistent data will be implemented and Steam achievements added. This will be the biggest update I ever made and I hope you will enjoy the Vn when it finally launches in april. Why april? There still some more work to be done until all that is needed to have a good quality build for you is implemented. Rushing things is never going to end well.
