We have received a ton of great feedback, including a few bug reports and many feature requests. We've been working hard to try to include as many fixes and feature requests as possible in this update! New Content & Features E.A.R.L. Letters: Find and collect the E.A.R.L. letters scattered throughout each environment! Search the map and use the environment to gather all four letters in a single run and you’ll be rewarded with coins and a brand-new vehicle. Unlock the new vehicles once per environment. Steam Achievements: 19 Steam achievements are ready and waiting to be earned! Where possible, the game will check on startup whether any have been previously completed and automatically award them. From our first build on, we have tested the game on Steam Deck, mouse and keyboard, and Xbox and PlayStation controllers to accommodate as many players as possible. That's right, folks -- Earl vs. the Mutants will be in the upcoming Steam Next Fest that goes from Feb 5-12! It starts in T-minus 3 days! You'll be able to play the Earl vs. the Mutants demo alongside a TON of other awesome games. Being in the Steam Next Fest is a dream come true for us! This is our first title as a new indie studio, and we have poured our hearts, blood, sweat, and tears into this game over the past year. THANK YOU A huge thanks to everyone who played our demo in the last 10 days! We're thrilled with the turnout and the valuable feedback you've provided. We're eager to address as much of your feedback as we can with this week's build. Our priorities are enhancing stability, improving user experience for new players, and clarifying upgrade names and descriptions. We acknowledge there's more to do regarding the clarity of upgrades, and we're exploring some bigger ideas that we're exploring. For now, here's what's in the build: === FUNCTIONALITY UPDATES === -New players begin with 3 tutorial goals. -Goals now follow an ordered list instead of a random selection, allowing better control over goal progression (no more "Reverse to the boss!" on your first try). -Drone level-up upgrades now include drone names for clarity. -Introduced debug logs in the bootup sequence to address loading issues…

We're super excited to announce that the Demo for Earl vs. the Mutants is live! Last Thursday, January 18th, we pushed the demo live! We are thrilled with the number of people we've seen play the game both on Twitch and YouTube! We've also seen a ton of posts about the game on TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, and Instagram. It's incredible getting so much feedback in such a short amount of time -- a little overwhelming, even, but in a good way! Over the weekend we sifted through all the notes we took from watching you all play, and compiled a list of bugs, new features, and improvements. We've gotten loads of ideas for new vehicles, bosses, enemy types, gameplay modes, upgrades, etc. and we're putting them all on the board as things to consider for the full launch later this year.
