• DBK Quirks and known issues. - 2 June 2023

  Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. I would just like to share on here some stuff about known issues and interface quirks of Dongeng Bayang Kulit (DBK). First of all, despite our best efforts, there are some super minor (and more importantly non-gamebreaking) bugs present in the game: 1. controllers are only recognized if connected on booting up the game - any disconnects mid-play will mean that you need to restart the game with the controller reconnected; 2. skipping movies with the 'E' key will actually replay the movie from the start and disable further skipping; So if you encounter any of these bugs, just know that we are looking into it, and trying our best to solve these issues. Fingers crossed we will eventually solve these. Secondly, DBK is a RPGMaker game whose UI we left mostly stock - this means that full-screen toggle is mapped onto F4 and game reset F5, without any option…

• DBK Final Build Demo Update Out Now! - 31 May 2023

  Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. In conjunction with DBK's upcoming release, we have decided to update the demo accordingly as the final build of DBK has a lot more stuff added to it - even in the first chapter itself. Here's a list of what comes with the whopping 900MB update: 1. Story cutscenes have been added to the game; 2. The demo now includes two chapters: - Chapter 1 Bittersweet memories which takes place in the Old Water Village; and - Chapter 2 Gaol of Stone which takes place in the Lost Woods. This way you can experience more of the game before deciding if you'd like to purchase the full version. 3. The (rare) screen-freezing bug has been completely fixed! • BMF Demo Update Out Now! - 21 March 2023

  Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. As promised to those of you who visited our booth at Brunei MSME Festival (BMF) 2023, we have uploaded the special BMF demo on here! Now you can experience the Dongeng Bayang Kulit demo with detailed parallax backgrounds by our artist Ryou in the comforts of your own homes! Unfortunately we're having loading problems with linking this post to the latest demo build, so there won't be official patch notes. However we'll just spell it out here: 1. The parallax environments for the Old Water Village and Strange Cave has been completely redone by our environmental artist Ryou; 2. We removed some minor bugs (namely the map not closing during tutorials, and the light bug NPC in the caves); 3. This special BMF demo also comes with additional abilities for both Captain N'man and Putri Matami! We hope you enjoy this demo. Thank you for the overwhelming support…
