  Hello, players! This update brings a few quality-of-life features and improvements based on your feedback. Compact Layout You can now switch to a compact layout. Perfect if you don't want to be distracted by the animated UI. The option is available in the settings. Enhanced Touch Controls On Steam Deck and touch screen computers, you can now place tents with a single tap. • Large Grids Update Now Available! - 14 October 2024

  Hey everyone! Here's a major update to Tents and Trees, I hope you'll like it! 480 New Levels 24 packs ranging from 13x13 to 20x20 grids New Theme Relax with this coastal-inspired theme 11 New Achievements All related to the new large grids. Other changes Added tabbed UI in the level selection screen Star indicator when completing a pack without hints used. Tweaks to unlock conditions. Thanks for playing and enjoy the update!

• Update 1.2 - Steamdeck Update - 11 July 2024

  While Tents and Trees is already "Steamdeck Verified", this update adds better support for the Steamdeck. It especially adds a feature you requested: Touchscreen support! Touch screen works in the menus and in game. Tap once on the grid to place a tent. Tap twice to place grass. If you tap on a the number in a row/column that has all its tents, it automatically fills the remaining cells with grass.

  Here is the first big update since the release last month. Thanks for the feedback, and please continue to share your remarks, issues and ideas! Themes The Tents and Trees (night) theme is now available immediately, no unlocking required. When reaching 200 levels, you unlock two Minimalist themes: day and night. Advanced Controls Added Advanced Controls options in the settings: Added an option to show icons when placing tents next to each other (can be disabled, ON by default). Changed the hint displayed when the grid was wrong because of tents next to each other. Added an option to update numbers around the grid to show the remaining tents while playing (can be disabled, OFF by default) Added an option to automatically fill grass at the end of level. Previously enabled by default, you can now disable it.

• Last improvements before release - 16 April 2024

  Here is a last patch before the release next week, coming from feedback of recent beta tests. Added keyboard support for undo and redo. You can undo a move with "Ctrl+Z" and redo with either "Ctrl+Shift+Z" or "Ctrl+Y" Added support of "fullscreen window" (also known as "borderless fullscreen"). This mode is better than standard fullscreen if you are using multiple monitors, or multi-tasking a lot. Available from the settings menu. Switching from windowed to fullscreen can now be done using F11 (as well as Alt+Enter). These changes are available on both the full game and the demo.

• This chill picross logic game about very prescriptive camping was a hit on Switch, and now it's coming to PC - 12 March 2024

  I remember revealing at some point that my most-played game is actually a free-to-play picross game (picross, also called nonograms sometimes, being the logic puzzle game where you colour in squares on a grid to reveal a larger picture). You can imagine my intrigue when I saw that Tents And Trees , a picross-ish puzzle game previously on Switch and phones, is coming to PC on April 24th. That's a couple of months away, but you can play the short demo on Steam now to get a taste. It's slick and clean, and I like it! Read more
