Two months have passed since our latest news, it's time to revel the second trailer in our serie about each of the playable characters of Tako no Himitsu. Today we focus on Mylene, the most famous singer in the game world. You were able to play as her in our Steam demo, let's see what fate has in store for her!Alongside the trailer, we published a new devlog about our recent progress in the game. For this occasion, we published a new trailer focusing on Karan, our drag quene character.   Bonsoir, I hope you've all been doing well. We are hard at work with the team on the development of Tako no Himitsu: Ocean of Secrets. We are almost done with the first act of the game, there is still a lot of content to be made, but we still wanted to give you a new glimpse of our game world. We also have a lot of progress on the soundtrack, including a new battle track by Motoi Sakuraba, the composer behind Golden Sun, the Tales of series, Dark Soul and Star Ocean! • Updated Demo Out Now! New boss and latin Spanish localization available! - 5 August 2024

  Hello all, Quick update here as we just patched the game Kickstarter demo! Firstly, a huge thank you to the over 7500 players who have already downloaded the demo. I hope you enjoyed it! Since returning from my trip to Japan, we have been working tirelessly to finish the updated version of the demo, and I’m happy to say: it’s done! You can find the updated demo on Steam right now (link). In addition to the 1:30 hours of base content it already featured, you can now enjoy a brand new boss fight, updated puzzles, updated maps, and smaller general quality-of-life improvements. We also now have a latin spanish translation thanks to our friend Genow! Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the demo; it was super helpful!   There are so many indie throwbacks to old Nintendo consoles these days, it takes a lot of juice for one to really catch my eye, but Game Boy Advance-style RPG Tako no Himitsu: Ocean of Secrets (previously reported on by Rock Paper Shotgun ) looks like it has the right stuff. Tako no Himitsu (literally "Secret of the Octopus") has particularly gorgeous art, as well as soundtrack contributions from GBA and SNES vets Motoi Sakuraba (Golden Sun, Dark Souls) and Masanori Hikichi (Terranigma, Danganropa 2)... Tako no Himitsu is an action JRPG made as a tribute to GBA classics - you can expect puzzles, party systems and a narrative that explores each character’s story and the world around them.
