- Din's Champion released! - 25 August 2026
After a long Early Access, we finally released our next game, Din's Champion! Get it now while it's 20% off during its 2 launch weeks. Din's Champion is a sidescrolling 2D action RPG in a highly dynamic fantasy setting. The world waits for no one; as you are exploring and collecting, or crafting and building, the forces of darkness are amassing power and executing their own designs. Left unchecked, they will unleash devastating consequences. Will you find strength in numbers, building a massive town with an army of dozens or even hundreds of NPCs, gathering enough resources and resilience to survive whatever crisis comes your way? Or will you strike out alone against the evil forces, relying on your own skills and strength to prevail?
- Early Access Impressions: Soldak s Zombasite - 15 July 2016
Zombasite , a living-ish world action RPG from the people behind Depths of Peril , has been in early access for a little while now, so I thought I’d take a look. Even though I just can’t shake the suspicion that it was supposed to be called ‘Zombacide.” …
- Elf Concerns: Soldak s Zombasite Is Available Now - 16 October 2015
Soldak are among my favourite developers. With Din’s Curse, Drox Operative, and Depths of Peril they have three ARPGs that put the static worlds of their glossier genre-mates to shame. Quests are dynamic in a Soldak game and the world and its NPCs interact while you’re looking the other way. Fail to follow up on objectives in good time and you might find that you’ve failed a particular quest and you’ll have to live with the consequences Zombasite is the latest game from the studio and it’s in Early Access now . I was excited to play but first impressions aren’t entirely positive. …

- ZRPG: Soldak s Date With The Dead - 1 May 2014
Details are scarce at the moment but Soldak have released the first details about their next game, which will see the developer return to the world of Depths of Peril and Din’s Curse . As the headline suggests, the game will involve zombies. Lots of the rotters bringing about the collapse of civilisation, as they so often do. When the undead manage to infect even the most imaginative of indie developers, the epidemic has surely reached crisis point but I’d be surprised if Soldak didn’t come up with an intriguing treatment. Details below. …
- Spring Fling: Indie Royale Births A New Bundle - 18 April 2012
- Spring Indie Royale bundle launches, includes Unstoppable Gorg - 18 April 2012
Another Indie Royale bundle has been unleashed upon us. While I've heard some grumbles complaining of indie bundle over-saturation in the past few months, these bundles are still one of the better ways to get a hold of some great games at a low cost. Indie Royale's latest "Spring Bundle" includes six games: three from Crossfire developer radiangames, alongside Unstoppable Gorg (shown above), Tobe's Vertical Adventure, and Depths of Peril . As usual, the Spring Bundle carries with it a "pay what you want" motif, provided you meet the minimum price (which at the time of this post is hovering around $5). Futuremark's tower defense game, Unstoppable Gorg, is included, as is the obviously vertical (and cute) platformer, Tobe's Vertical Adventure by Secret Base. The Diablo-like RPG Depths of Peril by Soldak Entertainment has also made the cut. Developer radiangames has been making some of the…
