Latest Steam announcements

• Dolphins & Whales DLC - 1 October 2026

Let's expand our collection of animals! Dolphins and whales are now available in-game.

• 1.3.4 - Performance Improvement - 9 September 2026

I've just updated the game to implement a performance improvement. When resuming a large puzzle, with many pieces already connected, the reload should now be much faster. I'm keen to hear if this update effectively speeds up loading, and if it introduces any new issues. Please let me know about any other performance or playability concerns!

• Greece DLC - 1 September 2026

It's time to continue our journey around the world! Our next destination is Greece.

• 1.3.2 - Performance Improvement - 12 August 2026

This update addresses an issue mentioned by a few puzzle-solvers. Some players mentioned that the game was slowing down over time, particularly after exiting and resuming larger puzzles. I've confirmed the problem, investigated its causes, and made the necessary changes. Anyone who noticed their game slowing down should now enjoy consistent performance. Please let me know if this update improves your experience!

• 1.3.1 - Puzzle Piece Shuffling, Windows 11 Display Update - 26 February 2026

This update aims to address a problem mentioned by several puzzle solvers. When a new puzzle is started, puzzle pieces will now be automatically placed outside of the 'work area'. This should save a lot of time, especially when solving puzzles with large numbers of pieces. As the pieces are now scattered over a far wider area, the view will be 'zoomed-out' by default when each puzzle is started or resumed. Normal zoom functionality remains unaffected. This update also includes code to ameliorate a bug which relates to displaying text on some Windows 11 systems.Developer's note:I'm committed to continue improving the game, and this update comes in response to player feedback. Please let me know if this update improves your experience, and/or if it introduces any new issues that weren't there before!

• 1.3.0 - New Feature & Puzzle Set - 3 February 2025

It's my great pleasure to present Jigsaw Puzzle World version 1.3! The update contains a useful new feature. There's now a magnifying-glass button on the main menu, which allows you to view the full image of any puzzle that you have previously completed. Isn't that handy? There's also a whole new set of free puzzles to solve. If you look in the Food & Drinks category, you'll see some vibrant fruit and vegetable puzzles waiting for you. I've tested the new features and the new puzzle set and they seem to work fine. Please let me know how it's working for you!
