  hi! i have a few things to tell you about but the main thing is: despelote is now available on mac! the mac experts at panic helped us get a build ready. if you had been waiting for that to play it, now is your moment!next, i wanted to show off some pictures of a special "screening" we did of the game in ecuador a couple of months ago. even though the core team that made despelote was very small, so many people helped us along the way and we wanted to thank everyone by inviting them to watch the whole game played live at a movie theater. plus, there was a little bonus show from sebastian who played some songs from the game soundtrack live! sebastian and ian have been mixing the soundtrack together and it is almost ready for release. they've done a wonderful job integrating the music from the game with the ambiences we recorded in ecuador and i'm really excited for everyone to hear it.fi…

• New Patch - Tino Tini's Soccer 99' Freeplay Mode + Scene Select Menu - 12 July 2025

  Hi! We released a new patch for the game a few days ago. The patch includes a bunch of bug fixes, plus two new features:Tino Tini's Soccer 99' freeplay mode:You can now play the soccer minigame over and over! Select your favorite country from the South American Qualifiers (Ecuador I hope) and play as long as you want. Each country has a different difficulty level so try to beat them all!And, if you connect a second controller, you can play locally against a friend!Scene Selection Mode:You can now jump in to any scene in the game directly, so you can easily relive your favorite moments or find interactions you missed. Also, you can now skip the cutscenes if you want to go straight to the gameplay.In order to access these two extra modes, you have to finish the game first! However, I must sadly confess that I forgot to track whether players finished the game already in the original releas…

  Hello. This has been a long time coming.. despelote is coming May 1st! Check out our new trailer celebrating the news! 🎉 Not only that, but the nice folks at Fellow Traveller have invited us over for LudoNarraCon 2025 - their digital Steam event celebrating wonderful narrative games - and we’re excited to be launching our game to coincide with the kick off for the event. Of course if you want a taste now, a demo for despelote is now available for Steam Next Fest. This demo will be the opening minutes of the game where you will begin to explore Quito and get up to some mischief. Your save data from the demo will carry over to the final game. If you want to stay fresh on the story for May 1st feel free to pass on the demo, but do tell a friend who may have never heard of despelote, it really makes a difference! It is now early 2025 and we’re going to have a lot of updates on despelote for you in the coming months. 🙂 First, we’re excited to announce that despelote will be getting a public demo for Steam Next Fest! This demo will be the game's opening minutes where you will begin to explore Quito and get up to some mischief. Your save data from the demo will carry over to the final game. That said, if you’re already sold on despelote and want to take it all in fresh once the game is out, we promise you the wait isn’t going to be very long (more to come soon 👀).
