• Linux Fix and Unity Patch - 2 January 2026

  Updated the Linux build to fix a bug preventing the game from launching properly on Linux systems. Update the Windows and Mac builds with patched versions in response to the Unity security vulnerability. No gameplay or content changes have been made to the game, this update is just maintenance to keep everything running smoothly!

  Every Letter is a part of The Storyteller's Festival this year! The Storyteller's Festival is an event promoting all kinds of exciting narrative games, and they have kindly included Every Letter among the ranks of games on display this year! • File Location Fix - 13 December 2024

  Thus update just takes the game files out of a folder that was causing issues with launch for people who had already downloaded the game. To the industrious players who already moved their own files around to launch the game, thank you for the effort you've put into launching Every Letter! Hopefully this fixes things for everyone else, and sorry if this means you have to move your files again!

• Achievements Patch - 3 December 2024

  Achievements should work as intended this time, fingers crossed!! A bug responsible for failing to unlock achievements has finally been found and squashed. So you should be able to unlock achievements again! Thank you so much to the players who brought up this problem with achievements not unlocking! It helps a lot to hear from you all when things are broken. So thank you for helping Every Letter become just a little bit better with this patch!

• Vietnamese Update - 17 November 2024

  Added a Vietnamese localization to the game thanks to the hard work of Nhung Tran! Find more of Nhung's work at nhungtran.carrd.co! Also added a small fix to reduce the chance of the game incorrectly withholding achievements. (But if you do have issues with this still, feel free to let me know in the discord; we have a bug report channel among other things!)

• Thank you for 1 Year! - 19 September 2024

  Every Letter was released on Steam a year ago today! It wouldn't be what it is today without you, so I wanted to write this to say thank you! It's been touching to see everyone's response to the game. I've read every review and watched as many let's-plays and stream VODs as I can find, and I've been consistently blown away by everyone's love for Every Letter. Plus everyone's reactions to their first typo are delightful. :) But thanks to you all, the game has seen a much greater audience than I expected, and as a part of that, new translations were able to happen. You playing the game has very directly allowed it to reach more people, so thank you. It means the world to me to have this support from all 12,000+ of you. • Custom Mode is here! - 6 July 2024

  The big update is finally here! Every Letter now has a Custom Mode where you can write your own requests, plus 2 new localizations: Simplified Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese. In the new Custom Mode, you'll be able to switch between seeing the usual letter request cards in the game or making your own. Fill out request cards with senders, recipients, and requests for the beginning, middle, and end of the game. (And don't forget to save!) Then start the game in either its normal mode or endless mode, and see your requests in game! Plus, your custom request packs are saved as .txt files, meaning you can send them to your friends or try other players' requests. There's a new channel in the Discord server specifically for sharing your custom request packs!
