  Hello Vikings!We’re incredibly excited to finally share some big news: The founders of Arrowhead Game Studios have chosen to invest in our company through their holding company, Shpel AB. This is a huge moment for us and a major step forward for Meadgard’s future. With this investment, we can now accelerate development and push Meadgard all the way to release with the level of quality and ambition the game deserves. The new funding allows us to bring in the expertise and resources we need to fully realize our vision without compromise and it puts us in a strong position as we work toward launching the game next year.   Heads-up, Fellow Vikings! We wanted to let you know that we’ll be taking down the current demo on April 22 (Central European Time). While we’re proud of what the demo showed at the time, the game has evolved—and we feel it no longer fully represents the experience we’re building. That said, we’re keeping the demo up over the weekend for anyone who wants to give it a final spin before it disappears. A new and improved demo will return closer to release. • Welcome to Meadgard! - 20 September 2024

  WELCOME TO MEADGARD! Hey fellow Vikings! Buckle up for story time, we got a really exciting announcement for you all! During our two years of development we have managed to put together some great ideas on how to expand the game, but budgets and insecurities have always held us back from any of those ideas in the end. After multiple unsuccessful pitches and the team eventually becoming utterly and completely broke, we made a “go big or go home” decision in January this year to go for it and scale up the project with our ideas. So after a mental breakdown, a couple of design meetings, an awfully performed pitch in Stockholm and finally with some funding in our pockets, we are happy to announce that our dreams for this game will come through and we are now making an even bigger game!
