Changes Updated Demo version to v17r1. Changed the maximum number of stacks on Bash to 6. Fixed a crash in the Galleon Encounter. Reduced the +% of Barrier from Weavebond Keystone to 50%. Fixed a crash in the Jungle Encounter while the Halloween event was enabled. Swapped out general combat music with a set of 6 different tracks. Events Winter’s Bounty: Adds 16 vanity equipment items. Adds 2 non-vanity equipment items. Introduces a new level filled with rewards and crafting materials. Fortune is useful for finding the new equipment. Interface Adjusted and improved the graphics of the Interslice. Slightly adjusted the character model with more defined features, including the nose. Adjusted the character model's underwear to cover more. Adjusted the wounds displayed on the character model to appear slightly more visceral. This update primarily focuses on quality of life improvements, with content taking a backseat. I am currently working on the Christmas Update, as well as continuing development for Act 3 and Atlas Invasions. Additions Steam Leaderboard Added the ability to upload your statistics to a leaderboard. This can be done within the Statistics menu and will upload your stats alongside your Steam name. Mini-Bosses Added 1 new Mini-Boss to the Tangle Area in the Eternal Battleground. The boss drops 1 new versatile weapon. Interface Added rarity outlines to items and equipment. General Balance The recent defense update, which reduced enemy damage, has improved combat stability in Ghoul Smash. To further benefit players, the pool of health is being increased. Players now gain +10 Constitution per level (previously 6). At level 50, this results in an additional 200 Constitution. Damage Affixes Hybrid affixes have been removed, but flat damage affixes have been significantly buffed. Example: The Tier 6 affix "Ruinous" now grants 12 (previously 8) - 24 (previously 16) damage. Atlas Crucible New Atlas Fragment: Relic Chamber This Atlas Fragment is a puzzle map that will kill you on failure. It introduces five new items. In Preparation for the Steam NEXTFEST in June, Ghoul Smash has recieved some updates! Additions Linux / Steam Deck The first build with Linux support has been implemented. Save Backups Ghoul Smash now includes a backups folder located in %appdata%/roaming/Ghoul_Smash. After each game session, a backup of your current save will be created, up to a maximum of 10 backups. The oldest backup will be automatically deleted if there are already 10 saved. Note that this folder will be removed during forced Save Wipes or upon player death in Hardcore mode. To load a backup, simply copy and paste your desired backup into the main /Ghoul_Smash/ folder and rename it to 'saveData.sav', overwriting any existing save data.
