- New Mill Town Center - 6 August 2026
Hi Everyone,Today we've updated the game with another new Town Center; The Mill. The Mill Town Center is a little different than the other two that are currently available - The first advantage is that the Town Center itself can house up to 20 workers, which removes the urgency to immediately build housing at the start of a new game. The big difference maker though is that the Mill gives a huge production boost to ALL production buildings in your city, regardless of their proximity to the Town Center itself. This is obviously a pretty big advantage, especially in the later game, but we did balance it out with a few other adjustments: The Mill Town Center has less initial Lift, Propulsion, and Health. It also burns a little more Coal to stay aloft. We hope this is a fun addition to the game, especially for folks looking to do another playthrough. That's all for today, thanks for the support…

Hi everyone,We're back with a Balloon Party update! The game is 50% off for the occasion!New Town CenterWe have added a new menu when you start a new game to choose a Town Center. Besides the classic town center, you can now choose the Balloon Town Center! This Town Center is built around large balloons to provide Extra Lift (100 Lift) without using any Coal! It’s a little less sturdy (150 Health) and a little slower initially (10 Propulsion) but the extra lift can be a real boost for a new little sky town.New Balloon Theme PackTo go along with the Balloon Town Center, we have also added a Balloon Theme Pack to decorate your city! Stay tuned for more Town Center updates in the future!- The Wandering Band

- The sequel to flying city-builder Airborne Kingdom just hit 1.0 with a huge update and a 50% discount - 19 April 2026
Airborne Kingdom was one of the early pioneers of what I've dubbed the "weird city builder" trend, one that takes the genre out of its realistic, SimCity -esque roots and plonks it on the back of a dinosaur or in a world populated by beavers . In Airborne Kingdom's case, the gimmick was building a flying city, and it executed that well enough to receive a score of 80% in our Airborne Kingdom review ... Read more.

- New Pacifist Mode and Combat Range - 23 February 2026
Hi everyone,We're back with another update! The game is 30% off for the occasion!Pacifist ModeThis time its a new game mode: Pacifist Mode. As you know the main story mode in Airborne Empire, Adventure Mode, is set in a world that is full of sky pirates. Players have to defend their city and defeat a variety of enemies on land, in the air and at sea. We've spent a lot of time on the combat, and it has improved a lot during Early Access (that you for all the feedback!) but some people have asked for a different experience, something with a chiller vibe, like our first game, Airborne Kingdom. So, all that being said, we've added this new mode as a kind of relaxed non-combat remix of the game. It still takes place in the same large open world and players will still have to explore for resources and purchase new buildings from cities they encounter along the way. The main difference is in t…
