• Plastic Tactics Online - 1.5.3 Update released - 1 December 2025

  PatchPost engine update there are still bugs that need fixing while we work on the most requested features, specifically looking at a Single Player mode that includes some AI players to test your skill. Spectator mode seemed to be broken and was subsequently fixed. If a player in spectator mode uses the move controls (WASD on kbd or the left stick on the gamepad) the camera should track the group of units on the map while orbiting along a fixed track the encompasses the map. This track has three heights to it, allowing the player to effectively go up one level or down one level while moving the camera along the track. Targeting is to the central mass of all units. This allows players between turns to scout other player units and identify pickups and other locations.Spectator Mode can also be accessed during the player's turn at present, although a future Recon mode with some more freedo…

  Plastic Tactics Online - Feedback and FixesWell its been a couple weeks since we launched and its time for a new update. Yes we have plans but we unfortunately also have bugs. Release 1.5.1 will drop shortly and its just bug fixes at this time.   It was time, starting with a single "Last Man Standing" mode and 2 core levels to have some fun with friends on, this casual third person shooter gives each player time to set up and knock your opponents out of the arena just like when you played as a kid. Connect with friends set up a game and be done without investing hours and hours of grinding gameplay. Do you keep your units together or go lone wolf with one?   Plastic Tactics Online - Coming SoonSolving one of our critical bugs has taken much longer than expected and required some refactoring to enable us to move forward more easily in the future. If you've been a dev you get this and may want to skip ahead The BackstoryA few years back I was working as an instructor at one of the more well known Game Design schools and part of the student experience was a capstone project. This project was modeled after much larger studio processes (where most of the instructors had once worked). The culmination of these projects was often a solid prototype game with potential, but it died there. So I formed Kibble Game Studios to try and get some of these to market.   Plastic Tactics Online - The Countdown Begins You know if you've done this long enough that just when you think its kinda ready you discover that one remaining issue. Its inevitable and you see 10 other things you have to ignore while trying to find that nice elegant solution. It always takes longer to address or surface that initially expected. Well, I've found it. We'll get it fixed but you know one issue at a time. The Marketing Work is Never Done Time to make sure people know about the game. Our audience is small but we'll be enhancing that over the next couple months using tools we added to the engine (some home grown, some packages we included) to help us gather enough media to keep everybody interested.   Plastic Tactics Online - The Countdown Begins Its only a matter of time now as the final bugs are found and fixed before we share this game. We collected a ton of feedback from NextFest that the team has worked hard at addressing and we think we have a good first release for you. The Team's work is Done Our launch features are in, the 2 levels we wanted to start with are solid and fun, the main game mode is running, and its time to just let folks know about it.
