Hey everyone, this is Benji. I was the Art Lead on Dracomaton, and am currently working as the Art Lead for a new rhythm gamed called Beat, Heart, Beat! I want to talk to you about our newly released demo, and I also made some more Eclipse art for y'all, you can check it at the end :] Made by many of the same people who worked on Dracomaton, BHB is action platformer rhythm game with a grungy alt-rock soundtrack, about chasing your heart! If you like how Dracomaton feels to play, I think you'll really enjoy the way BHB feels too as we've only gotten better at juicing up our games. When we first decided to do the free weekend, we weren’t planning on making another update, because most of us are working on different projects now. I made a piece of LUNR and Eclipse as a thanks, you can take a look at it at the end of the post. We’ve been listening to all of your feedback and reviews of the game, and we have an update for you! Some of our team has been working really hard to make the game run better for everyone, and to fix all of the bugs that have been reported in both the forums and the discord. The game has been optimized a ton, so if you were having performance issues before that made it difficult for you to enjoy the game, give it another shot! It’s been a while, but we've got a new update to celebrate the anniversary of the game's Steam release. It's a bit of a smaller one, but we hope you enjoy it. The team has been busy battling on other fronts, but we figured we'd celebrate by putting the game up as temporarily free-to-keep from August 1st -> August 4th alongside pushing out a new system and some quality-of-life changes/fixes. As usual, thank you so much for your support since the game's release in the summer of 2023.Most of the content in the update is from an experimental branch that we're finally moving into the main game build. A Message from Annie: Hi everyone!! It’s been a bit! Welcome to Version 1.2: The Whispers Update! This project just refuses to die; it’s too fun to work on. This isn’t and probably never will be our job, but with the rough and tumble world out there, developing new content for DRACOMATON is a bit of an anchor. We formed our team in college for our capstone course and named ourselves the Gun Jumpers.
