• Eggsplosion is now Steam Deck Verified and major 2vs2 improvements! - 1 February 2024

  Hey all, We have just pushed out a big update that sees the game get verified on Deck as well as some big fixes! Included in this update: Several major improvements to reach Deck Verified status! Most of these are to do with controller input and glyphs Improvements for Steam account images on the leaderboard Resolved a major issue for the two vs two gamemodes where players were unable to interact with the powerup selection menu. Added additional check to see if there are four players when attempting to start a game in two vs two. To come in the future: More achievements! (if you have any ideas, let us know!) • Better controller interaction and casual game quit fix - 12 January 2024

  Hey all, We have just pushed out an update that brings controller improvements as well as fixing a critical issue for quitting the game. Included in this update: Bug fix where you were unable to click 'quit' in the result screen within the casual gamemode. Improved the controller prompt detection, this should hopefully mean the images don't glitch out anymore. Added a disconnect check for controllers. From now on, if a controller disconnects while in-game, the options menu will be brought up and the game will be paused. We will keep working hard to bring you the best eggxperience possible, in the mean time. Let us know what you think and what you would like to see coming to the game in the future!

• New and improved sound effects and leaderboard UI fix - 23 September 2023

  Hey all, We have just pushed out an update that brings new sound effects for various things as well as improving the music currently in the game. Included in this update: New sound effects for the following: Throwing, Dashing, Dying, Freeze Powerup and lastly the Rapid Fire Powerup The music has been increased in pitch The leaderboard UI now continues working after playing a game The continue button in the pause menu works in every situation again To come in the future: Button prompts switching when the mouse was used New and improved leaderboard UI More achievements! • New and improved UI and fix for game not starting - 16 September 2023

  Hey all, After some difficulties we have now fixed a big problem some of you may have encountered, as well as some UI improvements! Included in this update: Fixed the bug where you would quit a game through the in-game pause menu, which would result in being unable to play another match without restarting the whole game Added new UI for the in-game options menu and the options screen in the main menu.   Hey all, This time around we have added scoring for the casual gamemode as well as several bug fixes and improvements! Included in this update: Added proper scoring for casual mode ! • Eggsplosion has just released! - 1 September 2023

  It’s time to play! The game is now released for free on Steam. Simply head over to the store and add the game to your library! We have been working tremendously these last couple of weeks to eliminate most bugs but of course some may still persist. Check out our Steam Discussions to stay up-to-date with our latest reports. • Eggsplosion is now available for playtesting! - 19 August 2023

  Make your way to the store page and click 'Request Access' to join the playtest! You will be able to play the game for the next few days, before we will ultimately release on the 1st of September. Most of the final features are included at this time of testing and we hope to have eliminated most bugs. If this is not the case, be sure to let us know! The game supports local and steam remote play multiplayer for up to four players. Simply open the Steam overlay by using Shift + Tab to invite your friends! • Eggsplosion Release Date Announcement! - 15 July 2023

  The store page is now live. We will be working hard to finish the game in time during the next six weeks. We plan to include a few more QOL features and can add even more past release. The game will be Free To Play and will support up to 4 players locally or through Remote Play on release. Before this date we might need some play testers and as such a registration button will show up on the page soon. If you are as eggcited as we are, be sure to check out the store page every now and then to grow your chances of getting to test our game before release!
