• Engine Fix: Pre-emptive Unity Security Update - 3 October 2025

  Following Unity Technologies' guidance from October 3rd 2025, I am rolling out a COTLK build update to meet Unity's latest security standards. There are no changes to the game itself, it is a pre-emptive engine security-related update. Because COTLK does not use any networking services or advanced features, this update is likely an overkill in this case. However, you should make sure that your Windows Defender and all your Steam games are up to date as they roll out in the upcoming days.

  Adventurers, after months of work, I am happy to announce the Nightmare Expansion for Claymores of the Lost Kingdom. Featuring a new game mode, new enemies, events, and more -- this expansion was originally planned to be paid DLC. However, after a hundred hours of testing I realized that it completes the whole experience in such a way that there's no going back. In other words, all of the Nightmare content will be available to everyone for free, today! Features: New 'Nightmare' game mode for the bravest and most talented of adventurers ('Legend' achievement required to unlock) with 10 levels of difficulty going from extremely challenging to impossible More enemies More events More status effects Minor balance changes to the base game mode Loads of bugs and glitches fixed, and more!   Fixed gang panel glitching into a battle. Fixed local rumors from sometimes giving an "error" message. Fixed Attunement Stone not working when playing a 0 mana card while at full hand. Various typos fixed.
