  • Paint by Cubes is going Live now! Happy gaming! - 1 March 2024

Going Live! Paint by Cubes is now available worldwide - why not try it yourself? ;) There is quite a number of levels and they're all split into gameplay mechanic themed regions - each level selection region comes with a new mechanic, that's starting to appear throughout the levels available in this region and stay with the player for the next game sections. Within the region, it's up to you if you'll go for the 100% region completionist goal or just rush for the last in-region level (completeing which will give you access to new region and set of levels). You'll also encounter number of skull-iconed levels - these are typically the more difficult ones, often with a more complex pattern you'll need to find on the level ;) Further development plans! In the upcoming days we'll be uploading some small updates to the game, adding more/better tutorials, adding some additional in-game visual…

  • Last updates before official launch! - 24 February 2024

Hi! The game content is ready for release and all levels / achievements are setup and ready to go for the release :) As the game went through a Steam's testing process, we've received update from the Steam support team that we'll need to add some minor improvements to the Xbox controller support in UI popups and reset configuration of the Steam Cloud saves to work properly. We'll be uploading final building with fixes for this issue on Monday, the game should be ready for launch near the mid/late parts of next week - because of that the release will happen on the 1st March 2024! Stay tuned! Last Qubit Team

  • New levels and updated localizations for our demo build! - 15 July 2023

New set of levels showcasing new game mechanics added to the demo! We've uploaded new demo version of the game in which you can test our new set of levels! Level selection screen now hosts a new levels path containing 8 new maps to try, all of them are focused on a new mechanic - blocks with limited number of moves. Blocks with limited number of possible moves are a new interesting mechanic in "Paint by Cubes". Whenever the player enters such a block, the counter on top of it reduces by 1. Whenever the counter reaches 0, the block becomes inaccessible and from that point the player can't enter it anymore. There is only one possibility to color such a block correctly - the player needs to enter it from a correct direction at the moment when the counter finishes countdown and reaches 0. New localizations added! With the new updated, there were two changes regarding the localization system…
