Hello everyone, This is a progress update for the current status of Ticket to Ride’s online modes. Our team has implemented a number of measures with the aim of stabilising the online experience as much as possible while our third-party server provider works on the core issue impacting the service. Whilst these measures have delivered some improvements to the number of disconnections, the situation is still far from perfect, especially at peak times. We continue to work around the clock on a full resolution.Until a permanent fix is available, we will keep the Star Loss Protection system active in order to shield players from losing Stars due to disconnection. While this may seem unnecessary for those of you who are not affected or for whom the problem is fixed, we want to keep this measure in place until the disconnection issue has been totally resolved. 🪙 Ticket to Ride: Poland is coming to the digital game. Take a sneak peek with us! The physical map’s Country Cards have been streamlined for Poland’s digital counterpart, becoming easy-to-use Country Coins! Each of Poland’s neighbouring countries has a small stack of Country Coins, which the game automatically adds to each country node at the start of the game. Each Country Coin has a number marked on it – this shows how many points that Coin is worth. When you connect two countries, you’ll get a Coin from each country (so long as that country has some left in its pile). Ticket to Ride: Japan Expansion will bring a new style of competitive gameplay to the virtual table. Not only will you be competing against other players, but you’ll be working alongside them, too, to build the shared Bullet Train network. This unique mechanic sees everyone work together to create routes that can be used by any player to complete their tickets. You can, of course, choose to go it alone and not contribute to the Bullet Train routes, but doing so will cost a hefty 20 points!
