Latest Steam announcements

  • Some mild tweaks - 23 September 2026

I got feedback from one of the players, and have incorporated some of them. 1: It was hard to track where the basket was if the disc went way off course. Added a light above the basket when beyond a certain range so you can find it. The light only shows for the active basket. 2: Made the map extend to any markers that fell outside of the default bounds of the map 3: A bug around the music.

  • Trippy's Disc Golf v2.0! - 20 September 2026

Hey everyone! It's been 2 years since the last update, and this one is big. I basically rebuilt the whole thing! But, I think it's leaps and bounds better than the original. It's a substantial difference. Some major differences:Sound effects!UI cleanupsBetter physicsA different visual worldDisc following post releasePractice modeScores get saved, so you have a reason to keep coming back and trying to beat your score! Some things in the pipeline:Seed based course generation, so you can play infinite courses across 18 unique biomesOnline leaderboards so you can see how your play of a given course compares to your friends!

  • A rejuvenated return - 20 September 2026

  • Several updates! - 3 May 2024

Controller support! You can now play the game with any(?) controller (Does not work with UI, but gameplay itself is possible) Better UI Removed text that covered some of the screen, added a new spot where you can see the game controls in the pause menu. Better optimization Removed unnecessaries, adjusted scripts so that few things required processing resources. Better chain physics Improved the chains on the baskets to be better!

  • Minor UI patch - 10 November 2023

Fixed a bug where when switching levels the Disc information on the left when you spawn a disc stopped populating.

  • Cool new features! - 29 October 2023

Added an inventory system and the start of what will become the store system. As is stands the player now has excess of 9 discs on every level. When opening a level, your inventory tab will automatically open. You can click-and-drag each disc to rearrange the order. The top 9 discs are associated with hotkeys 1-9. Also added AI controlled animals to 1 map and made minor updates to a couple of maps.

  • Better physics and disc tracking and some hidden stuff - 23 August 2023

This update is another update to the flight physics of the disc to try to get even closer to realistic flight pathing. In addition, added a 'trail' to the disc so you can actually see it moving through the air to have a better idea of where it went. Hidden stuff: Started to build the backend to the in-game shop to buy and use more discs. For those opposed to microtransactions, good news, we will NEVER have micro transactions. You will earn in game cash by performance to get these discs. Future maps will always be free to current game owners. The base price of the game might go up as features are added.

  • Multiple minor updates - 28 July 2023

Updated: Physics to behave more like a disc should Increased maximum throw strength Adjusted UI to make the center of the screen more clean

  • Quick fix - 27 July 2023

UI Improvements: On one world hitting escape opened the weather control tool. This has been removed When throwing a disc, the distance between you and the disc was shown as a long digit of numbers in the central UI text. In an effort for cleaner UI, this has been removed. The disc can now be found using the white spec on the minimap after throwing the disc. Added the ability to click "H" to hide/show the instructions text as appropriate to reduce clutter on the screen for knowledgeable players.
