• It's Aliiiiiive! New Demo! - 1 July 2026

  We did it! We clicked the "publish the demo" button! Phew. There are a whole bunch of changes in this new demo, but the one we are most excited to show off is the all-new all-Dunderbeck music created by the lovely Garret RoseHe has done such a wonderful job capturing the weird world that we have crafted for this game in music form - from percussive hot-dog-slaps to Swiss alphorns - it's got it all. Check it out, tell your friends, and let us know what you think! A developer's note: The demo is sure to have some bugs. If you would be so kind as to let us know any you find on the Discussions Page that would be amazing. You're amazing.

• Wake up, Dunderbeck! New demo launch next week, and some news! - 26 June 2026

  We are thrilled to announce a new demo coming for Dunderbeck on July 1st! This refreshed jaunt through Cincinnati will show off a taste of some of the new characters, items, features, and one of the new dungeons (this one known as "The Lower Market") we've been working on behind the scenes - all with the beautiful backdrop of our brand new soundtrack composed by Garrett Rose. One of the features in our new demo: skin tone customization! In addition to this new demo, we’ll be doing a bit of a refresh of our Steam page in preparation for a redoubled push to get Dunderbeck out to the world in its full meaty glory - stay tuned! - RUST LTD.

  Thank you so much to everyone that has left feedback on bugs or quirks that have been found in playing the demo! As of now, here are the bugs that have been tackled.Removed some debug commands that found their way into the public demo.Removed ability to click buttons when the almanac is openMade escape key exit the almanacMade main menu not require an additional button press if entire animation was watchedReduced some dialogue that was just too dang longFixed some typos/duplicate text in dialoguesFixed bug that caused chewing sounds to stop playing after a few items were eaten (sorry)Add a couple additional helper arrows to make sure people can find the sewerAdd ability to disable controller rumbleFix window placement inconsistenciesIf you see any of these in the future - or if you find anything new - please let me know in a Steam Community post or on Discord!
