- Steam Awards are in and... huh. Did I hear cries about a certain crab? - 27 November 2023
A one-eyed crab has somehow been the bane of several proud players. If not him, a three-headed dragon. And, if not him, a walking barbecue of sorts. And, if not him... Well, you got the drill, but if you'd still like to award this little game the Best Story Award, I wouldn't say no ;) *END OF TRANSMISSIONS*

- [BUG FIX] Fixed behavior of the Fix RNG Seed option - 29 September 2023
The original behavior of the "Fix RNG seed per run" option was such that, if you closed the game during a monster fight and reloaded it after restarting it, the monster fight would play with the exact same random number generation as the last time you tried it. This was, however, pretty hard to spot and caused the option itself to feel pointless. The new behavior of the option is instead to fix he RNG seed to a known value and state when a new game starts, guaranteeing the same behavior of the RNG generator if you make the same choices in the same order. Notice that toggling this option to "N" during a run will allow the RNG generator to be reshuffled.
- [BUG FIX] Missing skill for Dua in Chapter 2 - 19 September 2023
Due to a bug in the game's logic, Dua couldn't obtain the skill Aurora Glimmer after the Echo fight in Chapter 2, if the fight wasn't won at the first attempt. This bug is now fixed, but this patch won't fix your save file retroactively. I have already beaten that boss, now what? The skill is not mandatory to finish the game, but makes the last two fights significantly easier. If you have already reached the second to last boss Pyrom, you can add the missing skill to your save file following this process: Open your file explorer and type in the address bar: %appdata%\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\8-Colors Star Guardians Plus then press Enter Open the file savedataExtra_plus.cfg located in this folder with a text editor Find the section called Add skill4="MagentaLight" at the end of the section, as in the following picture: Save the file and start the game Comment here if you are having tro…
