New FeaturesObject highlighting in the dark.Walking animations with weapons for the main character when using gamepads.Additional checks to accurately determine the connected gamepad type.Sprint and dash assigned to separate keys.New audio effects.New rooms added. Bug FixesBullets passing through enemies fixed.Control lock after falling while holding a sword fixed.Control lock during collisions with obstacles fixed.UI rendering bug after returning to the game from the menu fixed.Camera bounds adjusted for widescreen monitors.Game optimization improved.Minor bugs resolved. Comrades, hello! We just dropped a fresh patch straight to Steam for the Kanun 1919 demo! The world of the game keeps getting more atmospheric and alive with every update. Here’s what awaits you in the new version: • New interaction systems: dragging boxes + vertical movement on ladders; • Levels completely reworked to support these features; • Added stamina to the character — now you actually have to manage your strength; • Melee combat system got much tougher: added a powerful heavy sword strike; • Dash has been reworked — now it goes in the direction you’re moving; • Improved NPC AI; • Added the FIRST BOSS (yes, already!); • Fixed multiple bugs and added a ton of small improvements. Do you plan to improve them — maybe make them tell a parallel story, connect more with the gameplay, or hint at hidden areas? Or perhaps tie them more closely to the main plot?Yes, we plan to expand this element in the future. In the demo, specifically in the Leprosarium, there’s already a storyline told through notes. We also plan to add new notes that reveal secret places and upcoming locations.2️⃣ Are there any plans for open beta tests in the future, aside from the demo version?We haven’t thought about that yet. Today we realised a new patch for the Kanun 1919 demo.
