One of the most common pieces of feedback we've received since launch has been about the environmental hazards. We get it — you want to focus on the combat, and some of those hazards were getting in the way of the experience rather than adding to it.So we did something about it. You can now disable environment hazards entirely from the options menu. No more surprise traps pulling you out of your SSS combo flow. Just you, your sword, and hordes of enemies to carve through.For those of you who enjoy the extra challenge, don't worry — hazards are still on by default. SOULQUEST IS FINALLY OUT ON STEAM! It's real, after almost 7 years, the days of doubting if the game will see the day of light are over. Thank you so much to all my Kickstarter backers and the people who supported this game for so long. It's definitely not a perfect game, but I tried my best to make a kickass combat for a 2D game, which I would love to have played in 2019 when I started this project. We just passed the middle of Next Fest, and we wanted to do a little update on the state of the game and the new changes made!We are happy to announce that SoulQuest has now passed 47 THOUSAND WISHLISTS!! Thank you so much for your support and feedback on the game that we have been having over the last weeks. We have been taking your feedback and releasing some updates to the demo with new fixes and improvements!Some of these changes are:Some of Alys' moves have been accelerated.Cernunnos combo attacks now take 1 more frame per hit to give a better representation of upcoming attacks.Announcer voice has been removed in combat and will only be present at the end of each level.Better visualization every time Alys is damaged.
