- Update v1.07a - Minor Tweaks - 12 April 2026
Just updated the demo and brought this build into line as well. A couple UI improvements as well. Cheers all! - Ariel (NvrSkipGameDay)
- Major Update v.1.06d - Changing The Game - 6 April 2026
Bonuses GaloreHouston, we have... a new target challenge! On each of the main levels a bonus now alternates between target hits for a cascading percentage of the overall score. So for the initial new bonus hits will only count for 10 percent of the overall score (or 10 points as a base). But each successive bonus target hit raises the bonus percentage up to 30%!I had previously received feedback that people mostly just went for yellow targets as they were worth the most points - I think this adds a bit of spice to the levels and makes those other targets a worthy challenge. :DJust a note that all of the high scores for levels have been altered to reflect the new (wildly high) scores you can achieve. Accessibility Arc & Bonus GuidesA couple new accessibility settings have been implemented as well. For those trickier shots, there's now an optional Arc Guide, and Bonus Guide for ease of sp…
- Update 1.05e Hotfix - 20 February 2026
As it turns out, LJ still 'shed his mortal coil' (as an amazing piece of feedback put it) when interacting with a particular secret location on Steam Deck. Tested and fixed, happy secret hunting everyone! Cheers, Ariel (NvrSkipGameDay)
- Update v.1.05c Overview - AKA I (do not) like big bugs and I cannot lie - 18 February 2026
I recently received a lot of feedback from new players (thank you everyone!) - so this update has a lot of quality of life changes and bug fixes. Some of them must have been added by my tired brain in subsequent updates and I just missed it until they were recently reported. Without further ado! Quality of Life Features: Added outlines to all major buttons to ensure it’s obvious which ones are selected. Allow ‘Enter/Return’ key on keyboard to enact ‘Play’ button on Level select. Previously only ‘Interact’ key was functional Made the super-secret level more just… secret. Allowed more interaction options at discovery point, and added the “Secret Level Unlocked” to the description. Bit o’ dialogue as well ;) Bug Fixes: Secret levels would unlock automatically once main tournament was beaten. Fixed an error in an if statement, now those levels only unlock after all 3 artifacts are found. LJ…
- Update v.1.05b Overview - 19 December 2025
Hey all! A few updates based on some feedback I received regarding UI:Quality of Life Features:Made Target Maestro level 1-15 reset buttons clearer as to which one was selected.Did the same to the “Reset Game” buttons & Continue button in intro menu.Bug Fixes:Newest “Slice” wasn’t navigable via controller in the select menu - fixed!Controller settings would sometimes still allow mouse hovering - making two buttons appear active at once.Cheers all! Happy Holidays!! (If you celebrate!)- Ariel

And wouldn’t you know it, there's also a sale going on ;) Updates: Quality of Life Features: Integrated importing saves from the *brand new demo* version of OFT to the full game! Anytime you start a new game you’ll have the choice to port your demo save file over to preserve your scores, achievements, unlocks, etc. Story: Updated small piece of campfire dialogue.
- Update v.1.03e Overview - 25 November 2024
Hey everyone! A couple of updates this time: Bug Fixes: Adjusted Map navigation for controllers and keyboard so that if there are missing targets the player can still hop around. If the normal “next” target is missing, the target will project and find the next closest target to go to that makes sense. Please let me know if there are issues with this! Audio: 11_Lv_Tween - Split song to create depth for cellist. Assigned the audiosource for non-restricted sounds: Character popping jingle on Scene Map Waterwheel for Slice Added guitar SFX for LuteBro no Waterwheel slice. Cheers! Ariel P (NvrSkipGameDay)
- Update v.1.03d - A New Slice! - 30 June 2024
It’s high time for a new update! A couple of simple fixes, and a new unlockable 'Slice' (chill diorama scene)! If you’ve already beaten all of Hood’s levels, you’ll already have access to this scene :) Quality of Life Features: An extra Slice was added! This little scene is unlockable after beating the base score of level 21. If you’ve already beaten it, the level will automatically unlock! Bug Fixes: When a score exactly matched the Level Goal, it would break the string. Just needed that >=, should be good to go! One of the scenes was unlocking after the wrong set of levels. Fixed! Current players who’ve unlocked it shouldn’t lose their unlocked status for it (Hint: A big tree, a sunset) Graphics: Fixed a z-fighting issue on Aunt P Slice. Audio: Added sound effects to the Aunt P Slice. Cheers, all! Ariel P (NvrSkipGameDay)
- Mini-Update v.1.03c Overview - 24 March 2024
Quality of Life Features: Changed the score titles from Base Score and Target Score to Level Goal and Challenge Goal - the wording was confusing and players were unaware that they could continue without hitting the Target Score (Challenge Goal). Changed the goal score targets on “Level 21: One On Up”. It was very hard to beat before. Also re-enabled the ricochet on the cave wall - at some point I turned it off for testing, but that cave wall was always meant to live its best ricochet life. Added in a few extra hints in the intro screen. Also adjusted the hints so you don’t see repeats until the whole list of hints has been shown. Audio: On the Scene select level, the exclamation points for new dialogue scenes and slices sounded the same as the character shifting sound. Fixed that. Adjusted the volume of some sound effects. Huzzah! Ariel P (NvrSkipGameDay)
- Mini Update v.1.03b Overview - 22 February 2024
Hey everyone, just a small update this time, but hopefully with big effects (namely in terms of level completion and achievements). Bug Fixes: Level 10, Level 16 and Level 30 weren’t registering all bullseyes hit due to the ordering of some scripts. After discovering this I did an extra check of all the levels to be sure that the targets were collecting the appropriate info. The bullseye issue should be resolved. There was another issue where a target on an unknown level wasn’t displaying the appropriate score as well, hopefully this will also fix that - so if you’re after that bullseye achievement, that should once again be within your reach! I’ve got more updates in the works, but some of those will take a bit more time. Among them - varied dialogue speeds + skipping, addressing reported Level 8 ricochet clipping issues, adding in an optional arrow arc that you can enable in settings,…
- Update v.1.03a - The UltraWide Update! - 12 February 2024
Summary: On 16:10 monitors and ultrawide aspect ratios the game wouldn’t fit right on walking levels. This should now be fixed. Bug Fixes: The misaligned graphics should be gone now! No matter the aspect ratio, no matter the resolution, in theory all graphics should show as they’re meant to. This is very exciting, I had to create a new camera follow script to allow the resolution to change properly. That was a trip. Adjusted the level transition animation to scale correctly on different aspect ratios. Fixed the response time on a level-secret interaction that wasn’t always picking up player input. Fixed a missing word in LJ’s first full level dialogue. Audio: Adjusted a few SFX volumes. Urgent fixes should be good now, unless I get more player reports. Next up, I’ll be focusing on some Quality of Life features, like enabling an optional arc preview that players can use if they’re having…
- Mini Update v.1.02m - Fix for Steam Deck & Windowed Mode - 9 February 2024
Bug Fixes: Steam Deck was not actually resetting to 720p, this update fixes that. This update also pushes a small fix to windowed mode. Worth noting - if you’re on a non-16:9 monitor (Mac, ultrawide, etc.), putting the game in Windowed mode in the settings menu should automatically resize your game to 16:9 and ensure that everything displays correctly. Note: After switching to windowed mode from fullscreen mode and resizing the window, you may need to reset the level to refresh the display. This can be achieved by pressing 'R' on a Keyboard, 'View' button on Xbox controller configurations (includes Steam Deck), or the Reset Level button in the Settings menu. If you're resizing the window while the game is paused, closing the Settings Menu will also refresh the display, as it won't live-refresh while time is stopped. Cheers! Ariel
- Update v.1.02j - Resolution Fix, Pt. I - 9 February 2024
Update v.1.02j Overview Non-16:9 resolution monitors were having an issue where some graphics would be misaligned. This solves most of those problems, but the walking levels still have some issues (it's my current focus and I hope to have a fix up tonight or tomorrow!). Bug Fixes: Forced Steam Deck back into 720p for now - until the new resizing system is fixed. Graphics: The resolution fix I pushed should hopefully have fixed issues with UI on ultra widescreen or 16:10 monitors, but it also offset a couple of effects cameras. This update adds an exception to special cameras on every scene so that they don’t offset and misalign the art. Note: There are still resolution issues on the Walking levels for non 16:9 monitors, but it’s my next focus and I hope to have a fix up tonight or tomorrow. Fixed a point rendering issue on Lv 20’s special level. Music: Dimmed music on right side of the…
- Update v.1.02i Released! New game saves, Resolution Fixes, Hints and More! - 8 February 2024
Update v.1.02i Overview Quality of Life Features: Added separate save slots for new games - previously the entire game would have to be reset, so it wasn’t friendly toward new users on the same machine. You can now select your save by hitting Play in the intro scene. Created a backup (.bac) file of the original OneFineSave.es3 just in case there are issues with the new save system. If there are, please reach out to me through Steam’s contact methods and I will address them as quickly as possible. Added build Version number in Pause Menu for support purposes. The Extras button on the main menu now shows you achievements per save game. The Eula button on the main menu shows you the privacy policy in case you want to review it. Note: I’ve removed the Credits button as there was really only the developer in there plus some thank you’s. I’m still grateful to all the original thank you’s thou…
