- New Voices Update - Arabic Overhaul and Japanese Voice Acting - 18 December 2025
We are excited to release an update for Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree, going live today, December 18 at 7:00 PM (GMT+3), 11:00 AM (PT), and 2:00 PM (ET). After listening closely to player feedback, the Arabic voice acting has been fully reworked to feel fresher, more expressive, and more immersive. For our Japanese audience, the game now features Japanese voice acting, bringing a new layer of depth to the story for players around the world. This update was made possible with the support of the Ithra Arabic Content Initiative, helping strengthen high-quality Arabic representation in games. Alongside the audio improvements, we have also fixed minor visual bugs to further polish the experience. Try the update and experience the difference. Bugfixes: Fixed VSync option being reversed (on was off, off was on). Adjustments to layering to prevent the player for being rendered behind background/midground elements. Scroll bar adjusted on first scrollable text. Fixed double input issue on disclaimer dismissal fixed. Other: Subtitles in cutscenes typography changed for a more visible font.
