Alpha Nomos is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S following the PC launch. The new trailer shows off the Xyloblades, a pair of xylophone-swords that play a note every time they land. Each strike is both a hit and a sound, so combat doubles as a performance. Chain them on-beat and Cello carves through a room while scoring it at the same time. Trailer: Play on-beat and you hit harder. Fall off it and the room punishes you. Every weapon in Alpha Nomos is built from live studio recordings rather than a sample library, so you can hear a person playing behind every strike. Play demo:
