- News: Upcoming patch and content - 1 September 2026
Hey, everyone! It's been a short while since the last patch and news update, I just wanted to put something out to let you all know that things are still happening with Parkside! I've upgraded my PC and have had a couple of issues with the migration of the game project which I'm nearly finished fixing (thankfully nothing major) and then I'll be carrying on with fixing bugs, small issues in missions, quality of life features and so on. Before switching PCs, my list of things fixed for the next patch had already grown quite lengthy, but I still have more to do. Once the next patch is out I will start the first "content" patch for the game. This will include some more achievements, some additional item selling NPCs and re-appearances of characters through the game, and a new weapon for you all to enjoy. I am also going to prioritize localization support, which may be implemented before the…

Just thought I'd post it here for anybody interested: Enjoy! -BananaH

- DEV UPDATE: Fixin' bugs, and Heartfelt Thanks - 1 August 2026
Hi everyone,It's been a wild day and a half since release, first of all I just wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone who's tried the game out so far. Even if you have problems with it, aren't happy, I am still grateful for all of the feedback regardless, as well as all the bug reports which I have filed away in a list. Don't think I'm not reading these, I try to respond to as many as possible too. I want PARKSIDE to be as good as it can be, just like many of you want, and I will do my best. It's been a blast seeing everybody have fun, experiment, just enjoy the vibes of the game, it warms my heart knowing people have an appetite for games like PARKSIDE, and that I have had a chance to try and fill the void, even if it doesn't rub everyone the right way. Hopefully it will soon, for some of those people, who are having problems with the game or aren't quite satisfied yet.Despite a fe…
- Day 2 patch - 31 July 2026
Hi everyone, Just a quick patch to address a couple of issues - a softlock after mission 6 (with Brethren Slave upgrade) and a bug where you'd end up gaining medkits after picking up money (lol) I am going to focus on issues about mouse sensitivity/jumping next because that seems to be randomly affecting some players. I am really gonna try my best to fix as many issues as I can this weekend and throughout the next week (my time during the week is limited, I'm a dad with a 9-5) Thanks to everyone who's bought & played so far, I'm just thrilled by the response BananaH

- Demo update: Bugfixes & More - 23 July 2026
Hey everybody, Just some brief, kind of lazy patch notes about an update to the demo. With 8 days until the game is out, I'm still fixing minor bugs and issues that come up during testing. 90% of the things I've been fixing apply to the main game, not the demo. This patch fixes 4:3 in the main menu, fixes effect persistence after death, some lore text discrepancies, makes the nightstick a 100% KO weapon, cleans up some kill counting edge cases, adds non-HUD reticles to scoped weapons (for playing without HUD), and there are a lot of other minor fixes and things present. The cursor has also been made brighter while still fitting the theme of the UI.Just over a week left to go until the full release!!!You might hear from me again soon if there are more things to fix, but hopefully not! -BananaH

- THE FINAL PUSH: Getting ready to release PARKSIDE - 26 June 2026
The time draws near....TL;DR: Expect a release announcement by the end of July - early August...Well, this is a really exciting post for me to make! After nearly 4 years of working on PARKSIDE, getting the game through various stages of development, there is now relatively very little left for me to work on!The game is a very different beast from what it was probably even a couple years ago, when the first demo dropped on steam: placeholder particles, lag, a whole load of bugs. Hell, even the current demo is still busted (something I plan to rectify very soon). Here's a brief summary of the mountain of work I've done since the start of beta testing in January:-Fixed dozens of minor bugs-Fixed major bugs such as player control/interaction breaking, graphics and resolution problems-Optimized level geometry and improved overall performance across the whole game-Added and finalized new equi…
