We're thrilled to tell you about our new game, Whisker Squadron! It has the same DNA as Race The Sun, but this game is all about insane shooting action in a procedurally-generated mission. Notably, if Taxi Copter wins, it will likely be on Steam Early Access as early as this fall, with frequent updates after that. If "A Traveler" wins, it will launch in 2019-ish. Hey all, we just wanted to let you know that we just released version 1.531, which includes support for Steam VR! It's designed as a seated experience, and for now uses the same keyboard/gamepad input as the 2D version. We hope you enjoy it! (Note: VR support is currently windows only. We will look into the possibility of supporting Linux in the future.)

Hi folks. We'd like to let you know that we just released a new build. This build includes some new daily portal worlds (thanks for the feedback on that!) As well as some misc. bug fixes and optimizations. Some notes: - You may notice some odd connectivity issues today and tomorrow, as the backend server for the game's leaderboards/daily updates has changed. - We had to upgrade the underlying game engine with this update. This usually means the game runs smoother for folks, and often fixes some rare bugs; but it might also break compatibility on some much older PCs or OSs. If this is you, let us know and we'll try to help. - Some people have reported a score exploit, as well as some suspicously high scores on the leaderboard. We've fixed the exploit in this build, and we'll be resetting the all-time and daily leaderboards tomorrow. Also: Thanks for those who have (very) patiently been w…

Just posted about this on our website and shared it on Twitter, Facebook, etc. We have been working on an Android version of Race the Sun, and it will be ready for release on Google Play soon. We are still working out the details of a release date and exactly what devices we can support, but we know that the game will have the same features as the iOS version, including leaderboards, achievements, and a world that regenerates daily. Android Beta Testers Wanted We will be running a closed beta for those who want to test the game early. You can sign up here if you would like to apply to be a beta tester. Thanks to everyone who has requested an Android version — we are super pumped that we can finally make it happen.
