• Re-activating the Demo - 10 May 2024

  Hello everyone, We were planning to re-activate the Small Kingdoms Demo for an event next week, but thought why not just re-activate it now for anyone who wants to play something over the weekend If you played the Demo before you might want to check it out again as it has a lot of updates including a new tutorial, improved UI and some gameplay improvements and fixes We'll keep the Demo up for a couple of weeks, so play it while you can If you experience any issues or bugs with the Demo, please let us know We hope you enjoy playing the new and improved Demo

• Work Continues - 24 March 2024

  Hello everyone, Just thought we'd let you know that work is continuing on Small Kingdoms with a lot of improvements based on player feedback from the demo Two areas we are working on at the moment are the UI and the onboarding tutorial for new campaigns We're adding a lot more information into the UI to help players make decisions and the onboarding tutorial will guide players through the main functions of interacting with cities, constructing buildings, training units, creating armies and commanding armies There is still a way to go before we get to 1.0 but things are moving along nicely

  Hello everyone, We recently put out a demo for Small Kingdoms as part of the Steam Next Fest and we've kept it up a bit longer to give more people the chance to play We'll be taking the demo down soon, but you still have time to play as we'll leave it up for another week Thanks to everyone who played the demo, wishlisted the game, and left valuable feedback

  Hello everyone, Steam Next Fest is over! Thanks to everyone who played the demo and gave feedback, we've made several updates based on the issues raised We'll be keeping the demo up a little while longer if anyone hasn't had a chance to play yet or wants to check out the updates We'll keep working towards the release of the full game later this year Thanks again and we hope you enjoy the game

• Demo Update - 7 February 2024

  Hello everyone, We've released an update for the demo, fixing an important glitch that would sometimes end the campaign early We're also working on other fixes and improvements based on player feedback and we've included some even though they are a bit work-in-progress as we thought it important to get the glitch fix out as soon as possible Fixes include: - Fix for issue where campaign ended early - Removed wall bonus from town (as countered by attackers siege equipment) - AI army more random in targeting cities - Increase AI chance to capture cities rather than raze or loot - New Upgrade Building window showing cost (WIP) - Showing looted/razed on city info Apologies to those who have experienced the glitch

  Hello everyone, The Small Kingdoms Demo is live now in time for the Steam Next Fest The demo includes a small campaign with 4 playable kingdoms and 12 cities to rule and conquer as you battle in city sieges, in the field, and at sea Now is the time to build up your cities, deploy your armies and conquer the world We hope you have fun!
