• Tomb Stalkers release date announcement - 5 November 2024

  We are excited to announce that Tomb Stalkers, an arcade action puzzle game, will be launching on Steam on December 6th 2024. In Tomb Stalkers, players venture into El Dorado to recover ancient treasures by unlocking tomb exits with keys and relics while dodging sorceress minions and traps. The game offers 25 levels, co-op mode, three gameplay modes, and hidden secrets. Following the experience of the Steam Next Fest, there have been several changes regarding the game: Japanese and Korean (text only) have been added to the available languages. The gallery mode and character selection have been trimmed. They could be added as a free update depending on sales performance. Original Mode now implements one or more random rules on each level (time limit, all mummies can spawn at once, switch between normal lighting, darkness or fog ambience). • Tutorial Update - 16 October 2024

  Hi everyone! New update has been uploaded to all platforms (Demo and Beta versions): New features: New tutorial and tips system. It replaces the old tutorial and user has the ability to turn it on/off only once before begin the game. If enabled, tips will show when needed and only once per kind of tip/advice. Bugfixes: Fallen bandages from green mummies does not affect character with Invincibility state anymore. Footprints didn't highlight properly (highlighted footprints only can be seen in easy difficulty). Removals: removed "How To Play" button from main menu. • Major Demo Update - 11 October 2024

  This week we've made a sprint to get an even more polished and pleasant demo experience for the Steam Next Fest. Hope you like it! Enhanced game general performance Enhanced visuals in several areas. Enhanced highlighting system, more clear and less invasive. Stages and other game scenes (Continue and Stage Clear) feels more alive with details/props, several of them, interactive. Improved game control system. Pause menu can be controlled only by the player who invokes it (before only player 1 interacted with the pause menu). Added navigation controls context in main menu (using keyboard or any kind of gamepad). Removed feature: join Second player any moment in the game (via local or Steam Remote Play) due to control assigning issues. • Last Demo patch before Steam Next Fest - 2 October 2024

  Bugfixes: - Blue Mummy Behavior: now mummies repair tombs, which is their expected behavior/skill... but it has never fixed properly until now. - Guardian (Boss) Behavior: in some cases, guardian lost his spear until he tries to throw a spear again. This happened when guardian is damaged just after throwing the spear. Now is solved. - seems the Wishlist button was not active in the last update. So now is active. - Graphics: X-Ray effect's resolution has been raised, 2x for single player and 1.5x for multiplayer (due to there are 2 cameras rendering). - Changed blue Mummies spawn amount and spawn priority - Music changes when Sorceress is spawned, turns to previous Music theme if the timer is not ran out. that way the player is aware when the sorceress is in the area (Most dangerous enemy to face in the game, due to she forces you to restart the level if she catches you).

• Last week demo updates - 1 October 2024

  After getting hands on a Steam Deck found a major issue, I've found decals didn't work due to OpenGL was used and don't have compatibility with the kind of decal rendering the game is actually using. Which means Linux/Steam OS now is using Vulcan. And I glad to communicate that the game is running at a steady 60 FPS (with the highest presets) on Steam Deck. Other matter at hand was I forgot to implement a way to make the user be aware the Tombs are near to be opened. I thought leaving the footsteps could be enough, but unlike it's predecessor (Oh Mummy!) the footsteps in Tomb Stalkers are more a guide than a way to know if the tomb is to near open. So now, damage to the tombs appear when you walk around them: the more cracks appearing, the nearer to be opened they are (as depicted in the image below). • Tomb Stalker demo is Out! - 23 September 2024

  After 3 years of development (distributed in almost 10 years from development beginning to its actual state), now we've got an official demo to share to the world. This demo includes the Arcade mode (one of the 3 official game modes which the game will include in the final version), where you can try 6 of the 25 levels from 3 of the 5 different scenarios, including a boss fight. That way you can have a small taste of the gameplay and see enough content from the final version. Also, you can replay it selecting 4 of the difficulty levels you can choose which changes the enemy spawn speed and the scene visual help. The game can be played up to 2 players locally and via Steam Remote Play. So don't be afraid to play with your friends (Steam Remote Play does not require the other player to have a copy of the game).
