We hope you’re doing well and that you had an awesome Pride Month! 🌈🧡 July is Disability Pride Month and, for the occasion, we wanted to chat about some features you may see in our little game The Cauldron Kids - let’s go! Accessibility is important to our team, so we did our best when developing our game to incorporate it as much as we could. The Cauldron Kids being a heavily narrative game, we added options to make all these dialogues (and quirky interactables!) more readable: you can turn the text animations off, choose from three dialogue speed options, and go for a non-pixel sans serif font! Look at this pretty & functional accessibility menu with the non-pixel font! I interviewed our lead programmer, Mauricio, who's very excited to share his experience with you today ✨ Let's go!! Q: Can you sum up what’s your role/what you do concretely in the development of The Cauldron Kids? M: So my role in The Cauldron Kids was originally as the game's solo programmer, but as time went on and our team grew I turned into the game's Lead Programmer, where I focused a lot more on the game's central systems and also organizing the programming team's sprints, tasks and communicating with the team. • The Cauldron Kids 1.0.1 | Bug Fixing Patch - 14 February 2024

  Hello everyone! Here's a little patch to fix a few issues that have been brought to our attention: Saving and Loading during the Magic Wand's riddles and Mom Panic sequence no longer produces locks or unexpected behaviors. The pixel and non-pixel fonts by Chevy Ray and Jason Reed respectively are now featured in the credits. Added "Our Lovely Playtesters" to the Special Thanks section of the credits. The "True Fan" achievement's unlock method has been changed: the achievement is now granted once you complete the game as both twins. You can receive this achievement retroactively by launching the game if you have both the "The Mastermind" and "The Improviser" achievements. Big thanks to everyone who's played our little game, as well as for your feedback
