• Cryoterror being retired forever - 26 April 2025

  Cryoterror was the first game I ever released and I can now say that the project is fully completed and it is time to move on. Cryoterror was first released in late October 2023, an indie horror game that I had been working on for a while. In December 2023 I released Cryoterror 2.0. A major update that brought a lot of new features to the game and also Steam achievements. I had worked on the update for a while and it didn't bring the attention I expected to the game. So in January 2024 I decided to retire Cryoterror thinking that I would not come back to it. After a while in April 2024 my interest in further working on the project had reignited and I had the game unretired. I released another update that fixed everything (hopefully :D) that was broken with the game and completed the project. • Cryoterror UNRETIRING! - 10 April 2024

  Recently i have continued to develop Cryoterror and i have decided to unretire the game, meaning that you can purchase the game from the Steam store again. Cryoterror will unretire tomorrow, April 11th at 6:00 PM GMT, which is 10:00 AM PST for North Americans. Cryoterror has also been updated with the new 2.1 update. A changelog for that update will be out when the game is unretired.

  Cryoterror is going to be retired. The game failed to gain the intended popularity and due to further developing costs it will be going off Steam. I'm sorry for anyone who expected the game to be big some day. The game will stay in your Steam library even after the game is retired. If you still are interested in the game you have a few days to buy it and keep it forever in your Steam library.

• Cryoterror Update 2.0 Is Coming Soon! - 28 November 2023

  Cryoterror is soon receiving a major update that has been in the works since the game's launch. Cryoterror Update 2.0 includes bug fixes, slight story changes, new effects, scares, sounds, and other features (a full list of added features will be released when the update is launched). Additionally, I've included some story explanations before the game starts to help players better understand the game's purpose. Update 2.0 will take some time to polish, but we anticipate its release around December 10th.
