Ahoy, Skylanders! đ´ââ ď¸ Take a quick scouting trip through our new path of death: the Skinless Base! Which part sparks your seafaring curiosity the most? For many moons, weâve been toiling over the creation of this new region, and now we can finally reveal it to the Crew! We poured oceans of sweat into it: map design, concepts, terrain sculpting, decorations, and all that enchanted work needed to make this place look like a true wonder of the world. Weâve also introduced plenty of new gameplay systems here: farming, cannon shooting, looting, and much more! đ¤ But the work is far from over. Creating a game is like sailing across stormy seas, constant tweaks, new elements, and polishing every corner. Although the region is already fully playable, it still awaits more pirate finesse, decorations, and content! So expect the Skinless Base to grow, change, and gain power with every new updateâŚ
- PlayTest v2 is live! - 28 November 2025
From there, you set off on adventures that reveal the stories of your crewmates in a world of pirate legends. Each mission takes place in a different location the streets of London, the canals beneath the city, Treasure Island, and more. During missions, you gather gold and resources used to upgrade your character and boost the crewâs morale. This lets you enter the next mission better prepared. You can replay missions as many times as you want, since enemies and loot are randomized. What truly matters is that Franco is part of a much bigger legend one he doesnât understand yet, but will uncover over time. For now, the only thing he knows is that, for some reason, every time he dies⌠he goes back in time. So: pirate myths, a brutal atmosphere, and a world that might not be worth saving.

Hey Skylanders! Just wanted to share a concept of pickpocketing weâre working on in our roguelike pirate game. Pickpocketing Mechanism Guide 1. Approaching the Target - To maximize your chances of a successful theft, approach the target unnoticed. - The best approach is from behind, especially for NPCs who are drunk or asleep, as they have slower reaction times. 2. Time Pressure - Each target has a set time limit before realizing they are being pickpocketed. - A ticking clock will appear on the screen, counting down the time until detection. - If you don't exit the interaction before time runs out, a confrontation will occur â the NPC may attack you or alert the guards. 3. Memory Game â Matching Items - When you open the targetâs inventory, youâll see the item layout by clicking on coin images. - Clicking a coin flips it over, revealing an item for a brief moment. Hey Skylanders! Just wanted to share a concept of lockpickping weâre working on in our roguelike pirate game. Lockpicking Mechanism Instructions 1. Begin with the Green Ball: Place the green-colored ball into a slot at the starting position. This ball represents the tension in the lock and should be the first point of contact. 2. Watch for Tension: As you rotate the lockpick, the ball will gradually change color. It will first stay green, indicating low tension, but as you continue to rotate, the ball will move toward yellow, orange, and finally red. The color change represents increasing tension, with red indicating that the lock is about to break. 3. Align the Notches: Your goal is to align two notches within the lock. Youâll need to repeat the process of inserting and rotating the ball through the slots, taking care to remove it before it reaches red, and continuing to rotate it untiâŚ
