• Fix for the fix! - 13 October 2025

  Many thanks to user spielerinchen who pointed out that the last puzzle of Act 1 had bugs that could make it impossible to complete! It's fixed now. To make a long story short, the security update to the underlying engine I recently did also changed the way the engine interacted with a third party tool I use for making the characters slide in to place. Some weird and mysterious interaction between two code bases that are not my own. (Lots of bugs are my fault, but this one didn't seem to be directly my doing). Anyways, it's 4 am, I've been working on this for 5 hours and I'm pretty sure I've totally fixed it and there will never ever be any more bugs. But you know where to find me if there are. Cheers!

• Engine bugfix CVE-2025-59489 - 10 October 2025

  Updated the underlying Unity engine to include a security fix. Also updated the copyright date on the credits page. Whew. I bet you were real worried about that being out of date.

• Nerd Drop Achievement Fix - 12 June 2023

  Fixed the Nerd Drop Achievement not being rewarded when you reach level 50. I studied computers at a good school. I've spent decades practicing my craft. I eat my vegetables. But I used a "less than" when I should have used a "less than or equals" and I'm sorry. I'm sorry to everyone who trusted me. To my family that expected better. To my friends, who must now suffer through their association with me. And to my wife who has pledged to remain by my side during this difficult time, but honestly, I don't know if that's the smart move. But most of all, to you, my players, who have now had to read a patch description 200 times longer than the patch.

  Back in 1924 when my grandfather invented rectangles, life was simpler. Kids these days expect trading cards to spawn after every 30-60 minutes engaging in any given activity. Ate lunch? Here's a trading card commemorating your burrito. Why don't you trade it for the card your friend scored by getting a hair cut. Do you have a shoelace tying card, a state tax preparation card AND a whistling on a bicycle card?! Let me craft that into a badge for you! Actually that all sounds pretty neat. Count me in.   I added a button that does a thing when you press it. It's on a menu. Switches between English and Japanese. Bet you wish you could add buttons like that to things. I totally can. I totally did. Also, did you notice? There was a typo in Japanese. I got that. Taken care of. Everybody put down your knives and laser-flamethrowers. We can all walk out of here alive.

  Girls Like Robots is Now Available on Steam! Their faces are the playing pieces. The rules are their emotions! Ridiculously charming puzzles, wrapped around an epic tale of love and danger, topped off with an authentic old-time stringband soundtrack! The goal is to put every one next to their friends. But you can't please everybody all the time. Sometimes you gotta break hearts to save the day.
