- Fresh Look for the Health Gauge! - 30 September 2026
Hey everyone! đWe've got a quick development update for you today. While working on the HUD for Kidbash: Super Legend, we decided our health gauge needed a bit of a makeover.Here is what the old UI looked like:And here is the new version!So, why the change?First off, we wanted to make everything look a lot neater and ensure it visually matches our other UI elements, like the Mix Gauge.More importantly, we needed some extra real estate on the right side of the screen. By integrating the HP numbers directly into the health bar itself, the whole thing becomes much easier to read at a quick glance.This layout change also let us tuck all those essential run icons like your badges and meals right next to the gauge. Since those items directly tie into your health, it just makes sense to keep them all in the same neighborhood!Let us know what you think of the fresh look in the comments. See yoâŠ

First off, a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and hung out with us at TGS 2026 last week! We had an absolute blast.We also have some news: moving forward, weâre going to start dropping regular development updates right here on our Steam page so you can follow along with our progress!Let's dive into this week's update!During some recent internal playtesting, we noticed that navigating the Mandala Village could be a bit tricky. Because the area has a lot of multi-level verticality, some of those higher platforming spots were just a bit too annoying to reach.So, we decided to add a spring mechanic to make getting around easier. But to keep things fun and fit the world better, we added a blasting fire hydrant instead! Now, you can ride the water pressure to boost your jump and easily reach those higher platforms. It adds a nice dose of fun to the traversal while fixing the issue.ThâŠ

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been way too long since our last update here. Honestly, we've been completely swampedâbetween working on the game, searching for a publisher, joining events, and handling all sorts of other behind-the-scenes stuff⊠it's been hectic! But today, we finally have a proper update for youâand there's a lot to share. First off⊠we won an award. At the end of last year, Kidbash: Super Legend won the "Most Fun to Play" Award at Indie X 2024! This is our very first major award, and we couldnât be more proud. Indie X is an amazing event that highlights some of the best new indie games every year, so receiving this recognition was a huge honor for us. We're super excited to announce that we're heading to Tokyo Game Show at Makuhari Messe, Chiba! You can find us there from Thursday, September 26th to Sunday, September 29th. đŻđ” And that's not all! We've been busy bees: Japanese Localization: We've updated our Steam page with Japanese localization, so our Japanese fans can check out all the details!
