New Item - Dive Weights.You will now be able to purchase dive weights and walk on the bottom of the ocean. This should make finding sea mushrooms much easier. It has been a little while so I wanted to give a little update on things. We just got back from Maryland to our home in Indiana a couple of weeks ago. I had successful bone marrow transplant done in January at the NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Maryland. I just got the call that the UAB1 test came back, and I no longer have VEXAS. This is the best news. It is still a long road to full recovery but the is such great news. I still have to wait until July when I go back for my follow up and have a bone marrow biopsy done to see if the Blood Cancer is gone but the doctors are very confident that it is gone as well. This journey has been a roller coaster of emotions. I am so thankful for my donor who has blessed me with a second chance at life. - Development and Health Updates - 7 November 2024
I just wanted to take a moment to share the most recent update on my health issue as well address what that will mean for future updates and game developments. Health Updates The NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Maryland have found a donor and I have an official bone marrow transplant date. The actual transplant date is January 29th. Testing will begin on January 7th. We will have to stay in the area until at least the middle of May. My family and I will make the temporary move from Indiana to Maryland at the beginning of January. If the transplant is successful, it could cure both the VEXAS and the blood cancer. This journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I am so thankful for my donor who has blessed me with a second chance at life. We are excited to bring you a new update with a few new features. Hunter's Manual Zoom You can now zoom in and out on the Hunter's manual. It isn't perfect but hopefully it will help with some of those smaller font areas. Upgraded Headlamp Intensity You can now change the intensity of your upgraded headlamp. Horse Call/Whistle You can now call your horse back to you wherever you are at in the map. Other Updates Coyotes and Wolves should now be less aggressive. We've been listening to your feedback and have a new build live with some updates and fixes. Updates You can now toggle footprints on and off on your map in Settings under Gameplay. Ability to change day length at beginning of each day. You will see the day length options under the time you wish to start your day. We added an extra light in front of the horse when using headlamp. Bug Fixes Fixed the bug that sometimes would not have you on the correct photographer level. - May 4th Patch - Bug Fixes - 4 May 2024
We just put out an update with the following bug fixes. Farm Map Sound Effect Bug. Weekly task real-time update. The weekly tasks should hopefullly update counts in real-time now as you are doing them. Mountain forest getting stuck fix. Added option to close the settings menu in the main menu of the game. Fixed the language selection bug that would sometimes not change the language. The master volume will now also change the music volume. Music was being ignored in the master volume setting. Spiders off bug. If you selected spiders off in the main menu under settings it was not actually setting spiders to be set to off. This should be fixed now.
