Hey everyone!In this update we have added a new feature that lets you compose your own scenes using dolls from across all fashion packs! You can then decorate the scenes even further with a selection of stickers, including animals. We hope this can inspire you to tell your own stories and be creative. We want to expand on the "Create Scene" mode even further in future updates. Historical Fashion Dress Up version 1.2.9 is now live on Steam.Hey everyone!We just added two new fashion packs for you to explore: 1880s women's and men's fashion!The 1880s fashion packs are based on garments from museum collections, fashion plates and photos from the era. We have included dresses from throughout the decade, so you can experience both the tighter style that was popular early in the decade, as well as the iconic bustle silhouette. We have expanded the possible number of colors you can use on your outfit for more customization, up to six different colors on certain 1880s dresses! As a result, we've done a revamp of the color selection panel and widened it to allow for three color columns. - Installation bug has been fixed! - 2 June 2026
Hey everyone!We have just fixed a long-standing bug that has affected some non-English users. These users couldn't install the game, because the download said it was 0 bytes, and that the executable was missing.The problem was that we had two languages supported on the store page, English and Norwegian. But the actual files on the Steam server were configured to be "English only". So if you were unlucky enough to have the game default to Norwegian on Steam, it found no files to download.We've now set the files to "All languages", which has resolved the issue.Thank you for your patience, and stay tuned for more historical fashion!

These fashion packs are mostly based on garments from various museums collections and fashion plates. There is also a new dog! Based on a real dog from 1921! Historical Fashion Dress Up version 1.2.0 is finally live on Steam!Hey everyone!This is a major update that overhauls the game and adds three new fashion packs for you to explore: 1680s men's fashion, and the long-awaited 1780s women's and men's fashion!We have also updated existing packs to support our new multi-color system, and added animals taken from historical paintings as a new accessory category! The UI has also had a complete redesign ✨A big focus for us with this patch was to improve the general flow and pacing in the game, and we've made it quicker to navigate menus, switch packs and manage wardrobes. Hi everyone, We’re putting the 1880s pack on hold for now to focus on the 1680s. We're currently working on a project centered around the 1680s, and we want to use our research to create the 1680s pack before the project is finished. The 1680s pack will highlight more "everyday" outfits and explore the fashion of various societal classes rather than elaborate ballgowns. We hope you are as excited as we are so have some more fashion to explore in Historical Fashion Dress Up! Hi everyone, Thank you again so much for playing and giving feedback on the game! Based on the comments we have just released a new patch for Historical Fashion Dress Up on both Windows and Mac. New dress! New color swatches! Changelog: Added a new dress preset for the 1820s female pack, including 3 new decorations and a new pattern. Added. Doubled the number of colors across all garments (!) Fixed. The hat menu no longer let’s you change the hair color Fixed. Setting changes properly save Changed. If the game does not detect the Steam Overlay, it saves a screenshot locally. Due to Steamworks API limitations this is the only screenshot option for Mac users, other than using the built-in hotkey.
