• Announcing: Iron Blight - 14 September 2025

  We’ve been working on a short game for the better part of the last 3 months, and it’s finally time to reveal it! Iron Blight is a survival horror game that leans into tense, atmospheric gameplay and resource scarcity. It features diegetic interfaces (no HUD), a grid-based inventory, and step-by-step weapon reloading.This project has been sitting on the back burner for a while, and I really wanted to get it out there. It’s been a tough year for me personally (I won’t go into details), but seeing this come to life has been a huge source of motivation.What happens to Aquametsis?Aquametsis is still very much in development! It’s just moving slower than usual, as you’d expect. Once Iron Blight is out (this March), we’ll be back to focusing fully on Aquametsis. Have a good one!

  Changelog: • Improved object handling, objects no longer fall when colliding with walls. • Fixed the issue where players were unable to pick up Slug attachments. • Fixed an issue where setting mouse sensitivity to 0 caused various problems. • Resolves mouse sensitivity not registering until aiming. • Added an option to invert the Y-axis for mouse. • ZPM Machines now correctly display the remaining number of usages. • Made small changes to the NPC combat detection logic. • Further adjusted the NPC patrolling detection logic. • You no longer need to press the use key to start using the drone. • NPCs now more reliably detect drones. • Nanofibral Tissue now increases damage dealt with melee weapons. • The first NPC in the introduction no longer causes game issues if the melee attack is missed. • Fixed an issue where players could dive multiple times.

  Changelog: • Increased NPC detection times and reduced vision cone angles to make stealth easier. • Vastly improved mantle. • Increased carry limit by 7.5KG. • Reduced laser mine damage threshold from 50 to 30. • Added button prompts to interactable objects. • Improved some of the tutorial messages to be clearer about the game mechanics.

  Changelog: • Made it so that holding or pressing the jump button attaches you to a ladder. • Added a "drop worst battery" binding. • Fixed a bug where "snatching" NPC gun batteries didn't remove the battery model from the gun. • Added a delay to NPC barks to prevent them from repeating multiple times in a short period. • Tried our best with monitor changing code (we don't have a multi-monitor setup for testing).

  Changelog: Fixed an issue where you couldn't drop chip-type items (psiwares, weapon attachments, etc.). Fixed a bug where pressing V while a drone controller is up spawns a new drone and breaks the controls. Added a feature allowing you to "snitch" batteries from weapons on the ground. Made the backstab indication animation easier to read. Added a monitor selection setting.
