Hello Everyone! We've just released an update to the game which addresses and fixes some of the bugs and issues players have been encountering since The Corruption Update released August 4th last week. Included are fixes for the stiff leg animation horses have been showing, a new, clearer and up to date map and some fixes for photo mode, amongst others!Here are the full Patch Notes from the update: Taming Fixed newly tamed horses sometimes being impossible to approach due to slopes. Horses Fixed horse front-leg animation that could make the knees bend too high and movement look stiff. Fixed horse gait animation not matching movement speed (for example, the gallop animation continuing while slowing down to a canter). Improved how stats are presented in the horse overview. Hello Everyone! We’ve released an update to the beta branch for you all to try out, which contains a set of fixes and improvements we’d really appreciate if you could try out before we push them to the live branch for everyone! How Do I Access the Beta? To access the beta branch simply: Go into your library in steam, Right click on The Legend of Khiimori, and select Properties. Then, in the window that opens up, Select the Game Versions & Beta tab, Then select the Open Beta in the list on the right! Backing Up Your Saves! Up to this point, The Legend of Khiimori is a game I've primarily known as that pretty chill-looking Mongolian mail delivery game heavy on horses. Sure it's clearly got some survival elements to it, but the main draw has always - and from what Edwin's told me based on his time with it - been in galloping across pleasant plains. - Beta Hotfix Out Now! - 30 July 2026
Hello Everyone! Well, here we are again, with another update to the beta for you all! We’ve just released a hotfix which fixes a few issues we’ve seen you encountering, including a change to how the camera works in taming, and a fix for the false damage warning and horse snorting which was caused by entering the map or crafting screens. Patch Notes: Taming The camera can now be moved freely while taming a horse. Previously it stayed locked at the angle it was in when the taming attempt began, making it sometimes hard to judge your distance to the horse. UI & Feedback Opening the map or the crafting menu no longer triggers a false damage warning - the red screen edge and horse snorting sound will no longer appear without cause. Hello Everyone!We've just released a hotfix for the live branch, which fixes the issues some of you have had with your horses being constantly angry.
