  Hello everyone. Spate is now down to just 2$. Can't think of a better time to give the game a go. I did a quick fix on the linux version, that should hopefully grant a few more fps for linux users.

• Mac update, sale, new site - 22 August 2016

  Made some under the hood fixes on the mac version of the game to speed up fps. Also fixed a bug causing the game to look blown out on Mac. The game will be on sale for the next week. Just a buck fifty! Spate also has a new home online, www.ericprovan.com/games.

• 2 year anniversary, new game in the works! - 16 February 2016

  Game is 1$ starting tomorrow. Feb 16, 2016. It's hard to believe that it has been 2 years since I released Spate. Unfortunately, while the reviews for Spate were amazing, in the end, it was not the global sales hit that i'd hoped it would be. That's ok though. Spate was a 4 year passion project of mine that taught me many things. While not perfect by any stretch, I still believe it is a wonderful game, and one that I am very proud of. The goal for Spate now is to simply get it into as many peoples hands as I can. With that said, the game will be on sale soon for just a buck. Give it a try! New game.... I am happy to say, that after a few years of developing new ideas, I finally have one that I am moving forward with. I don't have a great elevator pitch yet, but for those curious, it's a lot like a mix of Hohokum and The Unfinished Swan. I can't wait for you all to see where that is head…

  Spate is Now Available on Steam! Spate is a platformer with a focus on story and atmosphere. It's as much Mario as it is Dear Esther. Spate is the journey of one man’s struggle and descent into madness that is fueled by his addiction to absinthe following the tragic death of his daughter. Detective Bluth is hired to investigate mysterious disappearances that have been occurring on an island offshore, and figures that he has nothing left to lose. The detective hopes to uncover some of the island’s mysterious, but is finding it increasingly difficult to battle his own pain. The death of his daughter continues to haunt him mercilessly, and his regrets at their last moments together are chasing his pain deeper into his heart. As his absinthe use increases it becomes harder and harder for him to tell reality from fiction. Soon he finds he is fighting for more than just the missing…
