It's been a hot minute since we've seen RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 , but it's coming back with a new version. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition will feature updated visuals, the Soaked and Wild expansion packs, and more. You don't have long to wait for it, either, as the management game hits Steam and the Epic Games Store September 24. If you've never played RollerCoaster Tycoon before, it's all about building and managing a theme park. That means keeping an eye on those finances and weighing up if bringing in more attractions is worth it. There are plenty of things you can add, too, with 300 rides, 500 scenery options, 60 shops, and 20 animals to bring in. You don't have to be tied to your cash flow, though. - RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 pulled from Steam, GOG - 9 May 2018
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 has been removed from digital stores. The popular sim was removed from the likes of GOG and Steam without explanation from publisher Atari (we've asked Atari for comment). A spokesperson for GOG told Eurogamer it pulled the game "due to expiring licensing rights", and stressed it'll talk with "new distribution rights holders" to bring the game back as soon as possible. Atari has popped its official stamp on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D. The 2012, n-Space developed game features new modes, including Coaster Story, which blends tutorials and park challenges into a "cohesive and entertaining narrative". Also included is Coaster Creation, which utilises the 3DS touchscreen, and Park Sandbox, an open-ended option that recreates the classic Rollercoaster Tycoon gameplay. You can share your park creations through the 3DS network capabilities. "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D marks the return of one of the most popular game franchises and delivers an innovative, robust and unrestricted theme park simulator to the next generation of Tycoon fans," said Atari boss Jim Wilson. A Rollercoaster Tycoon game for Nintendo 3DS is in development. It is being made by n-Space, the developer of the DS version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and published by Atari for a March 2012 release. Rollercoaster Tycoon is described in the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine (reported by Go Nintendo ) as an all new game in the simulation series built from the ground-up for 3DS. It features full 3D graphics, new design options and new pre-built rides. And there are, of course, touchscreen controls.
